I am living outside Spain, in Switzerland that is under SEPA agreement. (Under SEPA, unit transfer cost is 0.30 eur). I have two nieces in Madrid, and I transfer money to then. I have been doing this for a couple of years now. We just realized that every time I was doing a transfer BBVA is taking 20 eur fee. (they get a notification that total amount has been received, but in the notification, commission is not detailed) All in all, BBVA has taken more than 2,000 eur in transfer commissions in about 3 years. We called the bank and ask if they could at least give half of the commissions back. They denied. So my nieces early 20 years old, learn how BBVA steals their money without shame. They have learnt that BBVA is not a trusty bank where you can keep your savings on the long term and less open a mortgage with then. I take it as a learning for my nieces that start a bank relation. Maybe these 2,000 eur brutal commission avoid that they open a mortgage with BBVA or do any other transaction with this "no shame entity".

They have no shame and are profiting off of people who have lost everything. Avoid. Se están aprovechando de las víctimas de la inundación de Valencia.
