It's a scam - Go through the motions of listing a unit and then they ask for a fee at the end. Now they've just taken my information, super disappointing.

This company is a scam. Member are not real. They create fake accounts that send out email as potential renters.
I was going to list a room for rent, but ended up not because of all the fees they wanted just for a listing. Even though I don't have any listing, I still get weekly messages from people interested in the room. Here's the catch, I have to pay to read the messages. Since I don't have a listing, those are clearly fake messages generated by Cirtru themselves.
Total SCAM! They encouraged me to upload the front and back of my driver's license, which I did. They aren't using it to Verify me. They are using it to collect my data. I have gotten so many responses on Roomster and Roommates.com. I got one person who contacted me the first day and then did not respond to me. This is fake. The phone number is a VoIP. There is no Customer Service online chat. No one asnwers the phone. I am in contact with AMX to refund my money.

TOTAL WASTE OF MONEY! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! You will never get a response if you are looking for places to rent. I don't know if I believe if the apartments I was looking at are even real. To top off the pile of ish this app is; they push you to verify your identity through your driver's license or similar. Most likely this is just a farming operation to collect and sell your data.
Total scam. Received fake potential tenant inquiries created by the Co. After I paid 6 mos of fees, $30 per 3 mo since Mar 2024, I got many fake inquiries. None actually responded to the reply in good faith. Can't delete old fake inquiries, can't delete some fake replies, and can't leave my email or ph # in my listing for the potential tenant to text me directly. Then by Aug, 2024 I cannot access the chat feature. 😫 Stop, don't use this fraudulent/scam website. 😝👎👎 3 ways of scams - collect fees for ID verification, collect fees for listing, and created fake inquiries to induce fake high demand for tenant or search inquiries.
dont use this website looking for a room, they dont take off expired listings, my post was like 4 years ago I still receive messages notification email, there is no way for me to delete the list and terminate my account with them, it is a totally a scam website!
I registered on Cirtru.com and paid $30 to post my ad. Subsequently, I was required to pass a verification process, which included scanning my driver’s license. Despite receiving over 30 inquiries asking if the place was available, I never received a single follow-up response after replying to the prospective tenants. There is no customer support phone number. I filled out the contact form but have not received any response. This experience has left me questioning the legitimacy of the inquiries and the overall reliability of the service.
I signed up with Cirtru in December 2023. During this timeframe I have yet to get a single credible inquiry for my property. All robot inquiries. Do not sign with this scam of a roommate site! IMO.

I would give zero stars if I could. I went to 2 of the listings that I messaged and the tenants were shocked the their apartments were even listed as having rooms available. The photos the company posts are fake photos but use real people's addresses. This company should be shut down!! I have reached out to their customer service many time and nothing.

This company is a scam. I keep getting messages to that the couple of applicants that responded to my listing need to be verified and I never hear from the applicants. Citru has no phone number so you can’t contact them and they don’t respond to emails . I emailed citru several times for lack of response to my listing. Citru never emailed back. It’s a scam stay away they will rob you of your money.
This site is a complete waste of time and money. There is absolutely no response from potential renters and it is very difficult to use as the emails no not stay on the screen long enough. Even though all of my information is listed, I haven’t had one call. And NO customer service at all. I DO NOT RECOMMEND!
We found a wonderful tenant. Her son lives right in the neighborhood walking distance so it is perfect for her and her family and us too!
It's impossible to do anything on the site without paying. Listed my rental, people can see it but I can't respond to their messages unless I pay for a monthly membership.
