This is a continuation of my previous review about my purchased of 4 Antminers L9s which were supposed to be delivered by January 15th 2025. 8 months later after I contacted Better Business Bureau and followed their advice to sue Coastal Crypto and after the court notice was served to them, 3 weeks before the court date Mark finally reached out to me and shipped my 4 L9s. Since I received my miners and they are up and running, I am happy they are running fine but the 8 months I lost without mining with these machines cannot be replaced.

I shipped out 4, 12x octominers full of GPU's up to Coastal and when they arrived the boxes were smashed up and wet due to the typical incompetence of UPS. Multiple PCI lanes, GPU's and other hardware were broken due to this handling. Since the time they arrived all smashed up, one of the support folks worked with me to get things fixed and operational. They went through the hardware, worked with me to get replacements where needed and are returning the broken hardware. The GPU rigs are back and operational due to the great work by one of the techs. Thank you very much!

My business partners and I had a highly disappointing experience with Coastal Crypto and would not recommend their services to anyone. Here are the key issues we faced: Temperature Control Issues: Coastal Crypto promised good temperature control of their facility, but during our stay, we experienced approximately 75% uptime due to our machines constantly overheating. Shockingly, we even had overheating issues during the winter months, despite their facility being located in Virginia. Based on our observations, the main issue seemed to be inadequate airflow over most of the machines. The racks were sporadically placed within a large warehouse, and a wall of fans only helped the 2-3 racks placed close to it. We were told on numerous occasions that this was an uncommonly hot year, yet the average temperature was the same or lower than the previous year. Unauthorized Electricity Curtailment: Without our approval, Coastal Crypto voluntarily curtailed the electricity to our machines. They were not forced to shut down our miners by the electric company; instead, they did it to make more profit from a deal they had with the electric company. This was despite their power availability agreement of 98% to customers hosting with them. Network Issues: Coastal Crypto had numerous network issues, which added to the overall downtime. While the network issues were not as significant as the overheating/curtailment problems, they still occurred more frequently than at other sites where we host our machines. Repair Issues: They offered assistance with the repair of devices, and if they couldn't repair them, they would send the systems off. However, on multiple occasions, they sat on the systems for months with no headway or updates. One of the systems they couldn't figure out how to fix was later found to have an unplugged cable by another service provider, BT-Miners. This raised concerns about their competence and diligence. Weekend Downtime: There were several instances where many miners throughout their facility would go down on a Thursday or Friday. If they didn't get a fix by COB on Friday, they would leave our miners down for the entire weekend. Poor Customer Service: Whenever we reached out about the aforementioned issues, Coastal Crypto would not respond to us. Instead, they would post on their Instagram account or respond to potential customers before tending to their existing customers. Their company policy now is that they don't work weekends, and during the week, they are available on average from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM EST, except when they are traveling for crypto expos for multiple weeks. Purchasing Miners: This was a mixed experience. Our initial order of 20 L7s in September 2024 went well and arrived on time. However, our next order of 15 L9s, which were ordered in the August batch, were delayed. None were delivered until September and October, and one didn't arrive until five months after the original delivery date in November. While their added fees for purchasing miners through them are high, at least the machines were delivered in working condition.

I thought they were good before, but now I got to know that they were not. They are not reliable at all and their support is very useless they won't help you out if you face any challenges with them. I'm saying this from experience so I've moved on with PAIVA -they offer great service to their customers.

If I could leave a 0 star I would. The team was super helpful in the beginning when I hosted my 3 miners. After a couple of months of hosting my 3 miners, 2 of my miners went offline with no reason as to why they were offline after repeatedly emailing and messaging on the foreman website and also on discord. Finally after several months with no answer I emailed again asking for them to send my miners back to me since no one was helping at all. I finally received a response from the office saying they will get right on it. A couple weeks later I received my miners back but they were not the ones I sent to them. They sent me a completely different miner than what I originally sent them. And one of the three they sent me has 2 broken hashboards. I Tried emailing them to maybe remedy the situation or even get an explanation as to what happened but I received no response which leads me to believe they don’t have any idea what happened to my thousands of dollars of equipment that entrusted in their care. So in the end I received 1 broken miner, 1 miner that isn’t even mine and 1 of the three I sent returned nicely. So no I would not recommend them at all.

Is the second ASIC I buy from them, overall very nice packaging but I would have loved a little more communication, they where not receiving it appears my emails from my Gmail Wich is weird. I took exactly 4 weeks for shipping Wich in mining is a lot. Still excellent support and ASIC is working amazing as expected, brand new and shiny

4 stars for the guys at Coastal, -1 star for Iceriver quality. The PSU fried shortly after setup, Mark responded immediately on Discord to help troubleshoot. After shipping it back, the machine was repaired and hosted in a reasonable time.

Poor communication. Overpromising, underdelivering. Before sending them your miners, ask to yourself if a former steel forging facility is the right environment for running your equipment. In my short journey of one month with Coastal, I only lost money and time and risked of having them permanently damaged. Glad I have got my 2 asic miners back. Just go somewhere else. *****update in response to the Coastal's feedback***** I did pay the rack fee for #2 miners. Rack fee includes the cost of energy for one month plus the handling for the first installation. Total rack fee paid for the #2 miners: -$460 Originally I did consider taking the offer of paying 6 months of energy in advance in order to take advantage of a small discount but more importantly in order to support Coastal. I'm glad instead that I went for the month by month invoicing. First miner (-$230 rack fee paid for): - shipped on 12/12/2023. Spent -$190 for overnight shipment since was promised that it would have been energized right after receiving. UPS 1ZF53C461507804821; - received by Coastal on 12/13/2023 at 9:37am; - energized on 12/31/2023 after several follow up; - missed opportunity of mining about -900$; - on the 01/25/2024 evening, dissatisfied of the service, I have been proposed of terminating the contract which offer I have gladly accepted. I did send to Coastal a shipping label to return the miner to me; - If I wouldn't be offered of terminating the contract, I should have eaten the equal of 12 months (from day of energizing, minus actual days of usage) of energy cost as per Coastal's contract. Only this could have been a loss of $5,000); - I created on 01/26/2024 7am, and sent right after, the shipping label to Coastal. Cost for shipping -$50. UPS 1ZF53C460230891057; - on the same 01/26/2024 morning, Coastal immediately interrupted my miner; - on the 01/29/2024 afternoon, 4 days later (about -$200 of missing mining), Coastal dropped off the miner at the courier location; - on 01/31/2024 I received the miner and it is mining in my property. Second miner (-$230 rack fee paid for): - received by Coastal 01/10/2024 10am. Cost for shipping -$70. UPS 1ZF53C460307286039; - I was promised that it would have been energized by 48 hours from delivery; - However, it has been energized on 01/19/2024 at about 12pm and after following up. Missed mining opportunity for -$450; - Unfortunately, apparently, the miner arrived at Coastal with one broken fan. Coastal has been kind enough to replace it in kind, however the miner continued to not hashing due to hardware failure so I asked to Coastal on 01/23/2024 morning to return it to me in order to be able to troubleshoot it on my own sending them a shipping label. Cost for shipping -$120; - Coastal handled it very fast and dropped off the miner on 01/24/2024 morning. UPS 1ZF53C460120174441; - Received the miner on 01/25/2024 morning. Once arrived home in the evening, I did fix the miner and started hashing in my property. Total costs: - rack fee for first miner (mined 4 weeks out of 7 in Coastal's hands): $230; - rack fee for second miner (never mined on Coastal's hand): $230; - shipping cost: $430; - missed mining opportunity for the first miner for late energizing: $1100; - missed mining opportunity for the second miner for late energizing attempt: $450; total loss (or cost for the experience): $2440 I'm glad that these two miners net about 45$/50$ each a day, so I need to add about 30 days each to reach ROI for recovering from this experience. If I had a different type of miners that nets only a few dollars a day, I would have never reached any ROI from this experience. It should never be confused efforts with results. It has been paid for a service and the service was not given.

Bought 2 KS2's - shipped quick, on time and from the states. One power supply isn't happy, but the team watched my video and sent out a replacement. They have been running great!

Second time I purchase from Coastal - they’ve been phenomenal through the entire process. Always stepping in to make sure I have the latest update. They’ve gone above and beyond to ensure that tariffs were covered and that I was pleased with my miners.

Ordered a miner and everything went awesome. They let me know ahead of time that the package would be arriving, that was cool. I also host with them and they provide great uptime and service

Good communication from the Coastal Crypto crew. Always know what to expect when working with them. Mark has been a pleasure to work with since we made our first purchase a few months ago.
