Have tried numerous times to contact a human being at Torrevieja Branch, Calle Waldo. Impossible. We left Torrevieja 6 years ago and need to close our account. We have been asked by their customer service to make an appointment with the branch, I keep trying!!! Impossible. So we will make the 4 hour round trip to try and do this in person with no appointment As not possible to arrange one!!
I moved to Germany a month ago to the date. I was truly intending to become a naturalized citizen. I have been to two locations for Deutsche Bank and both told me that because I am an American they would not open a bank account with me. ANYONE coming to Germany from the US to be a citizen should be aware that this country does discriminate based on nationality. I am proof of that. I believe this goes against the countries policy about discriminating against people based on their ethnic origins. Seems like the US and Germany (Deutsche Bank at least) have a lot in common of going against their own laws!
If I can give this place zero stars I would. I used to work in the Jacksonville, Florida office at Deutsche Bank and it was a nightmare. My manager would undermine me and talk down to me all the time. He would threaten to fire me and said it to my face numerous times in front of people. My Director would rule with an iron fist and make you feel less than her and made it known. Stay far away from this place

This is without a doubt the worst bank in existence, if you are looking for a bank. PLEASE pick literally any other bank in existence, I’d rather have no bank at all than this one. I made an account just to share this review, just showing how absolute awful they are.
Utter rubbish
Worst bank ever. They closed my account without any message. The people who work their dont answer mails. They can suddenly answer 3 months later if you are lucky. The bank in Torrevieja and lady Laura Macia are the worst. Big red warning!
Extremely heavy, complicated an inefficient procedures. I already have 3 apps, 100s of pin code, security codes, branch codes etc, and its more than unpleasant to try work with this system.
When I asked for my mortgage they had a service and were there whenever I had a question. After it was a complete different story. They lied to me, screamed at me when I came in person, don’t respond to emails,…..now they closed the one branch in my neighborhood and when I wrote to the customerservice details I got, they answered after a week in a different language and when I asked them to answer in the language I am writing I never heard back from them. I am going now bank shopping. I was before at the Santander bank. They literally stealing from their clients so that is for sure not an option. I knew that Deutsche bank was a little bit more expensive but I went there because of the service. What a disappointment!!!!!
Ridiculing service at best. I've been with these dosser for almost 40 years, to my shame. I just wanted to have a card blocked after my wifes purse was lost. Not rocket science within banking services you'd think..... On the back of the card there is a number printed offering 24 hour customer services. Forget it. Automated choices to all kinds of products, insights, apps, online credits were thrown at me during my 15 minute wait for a human. Then but a brief "My name is XYZ, what can I do for you?" NO APOLOGIES OR SORRY FOR KEEPING YOU WAITING 15 MINUTES". IT'S OBVIOUSLY BUSINESS AS USUAL TO TREART CUSTOMERS LIKE SEWAGE AT THIS BANK. Then he goes on to explain that he can't block a Maestro Card. So why is the number printed on the back of the Maestro Card then, I ask Deutsche Bank? After a few back and forths he suggests putting me through to 'our' Customer Services. Which left me bewildered and asking myself who I'd called in the first place. Next chap steps up, takes my three didget branch number, my account number, and..... hangs up+!!!! 20 minutes waisted for the most simple of services. From my experience you Deutshce Bank are inapt to claim to be professionals of any sort. Time to take my money and run. Absolutely lost for words, and bitterly disappointed I've had to give them a 1 star rating. 0 would be appropriate.
the make you pay the paper communications, enabled by default. hidden costs, i'm under 30 yo and the bank account should be free... but they make you ppay first 2€ every 3 months, now 2.39€

They provided basic banking services with a user-friendly online platform. However, their customer service and fees could be improved to provide a better overall experience.
This bank continues to amaze me with their terrible customer services. While on a trip abroad , went to pay with my DB MasterCard and they decided to block my card even though I have all the settings on the app saying it should work on every country. Of course , you cal the 24 hours international number so this can be sorted quickly or so you think … Someone answers the call and says in English “ No one can help you in English today , it is a Sunday !” And as I am going to start talking , the guy just hangs up on me. Well , not happy I called again , now a woman answer in German , no English service on the weekends call Monday ! And again rudely hangs up the phone. Now explain to a customer please DB , how can you offer an international master card with a customer services 24 hours and have no one decent to help your customer just because it is the weekend !?? Just terrible customer service from arrogant employees that can’t be bother to even hang up the phone properly.
I have become a victim of a fraud. All my savings which is over 500 thousand euros was transferred to a fraud company. I have reported it to my account manager at Deutsche bank as soon as I have found out. Money transferred on 6th March and I have reported fraud on 10th March. I have received no proper response from the Deutsche Bank. They have not provided a formal confirmation that fraud has been reported to the appropriate department. They have not provided the date when Deutsche bank has reached out to the bank where money was sent. I of course has been trying to chase. My account manager's responses were often rude and not professional. I sometimes wouldn't get a response for days and had to call client support line to chase my brunch to get back to me which is unacceptable given the amount of money in question. It is now 23rd March and I still didn't get a reference number and date for when the fraud report has been raised. I'm still not getting regular responses from the account manager and the brunch. I still don't know where my money is. I basically have no assurance Deutsche bank has performed their required due client care. I have no evidence the fraud was reported at all I guess this is not my final review on here....
The worst bank ever experienced!! Stay away! Slow, burocratic, you can't do anything that is considered normal in another modern bank (eg. Transfer money in a different currency to a UK account via app: not possible, pay your rent + deposit for your new place from the app: not possible, take a scooter w/o getting your credit card blocked: not possible!!) Oh shall I forget the mess with the DB Karte? 5x Phone calls and cards sent with different pins - some of which arrived, some of which did not arrive - so much so that if I want to use one now, I'd have to request a new one!! Will close the account asap.
one star is too much for this bank. workers are dumb, unintellectual racists who forget to send you a debit card or mails. go find another job if you're too lazy to work.
The absolutely most horrific bank I’ve ever been in touch with. The branch in Torrevieja has zero interest in their customers. No response neither by phone or e-mail. Whatever you do avoid this bank at all costs!
Warning for people who seek a good bank.. Don't use Deutsche Bank! Every known bad bank isn't more worse than Deutsche Bank. If you have a tiny problem or like in our case a bankaccount block because of our emails that don't reach anyone over there then you have a BIG problem even when it's tiny because it will grow to an even bigger problem for sure! In our case we've been blocked from our account for 2 months now and the problem is a letter with proof of employment against money laundering (whut??) which is send instantly 2 months ago and is perfectly fine and there is no proof of any irregularities for which we are blocked now.. Off course we understand that you have to send the proof but with no customer service, no online, telephone or active email help desk this is a again a failed mission.. After more than 50 unanswered phone calls and 20 emails we finally got thru but this lady keeps sending us to a non existing helpdesk with an active telephone number but at Deutsche Bank nobody ever answers the phone. Emails also are not answered as stated in their policy this means if you have any problems they are bound to stay that way and we are the living proof of this failed helpdesk system. So to help anybody even considering this bank, for god sake seek another bank immediately because another bank can't be more bad then this one! Please don't open an account here you'll regret it maybe not on the first day but a bit later in time that decision will proof to be the baddest one you ever took! Hope we've helped some or a lot of people to not have the same massive problems we are experiencing with Deutsche Bank. Greetings from Ibiza!
