"The bank is like from stoneage, website does not work, customer support dont answer, you need to fill ludicrious amount of documents, quarterly limit set to 3000usd, for every little thing - does not matter what you want to do or transfer or pay with card - there is a fee. The bank is designed to drain money from you. Any thinking person would not trust his money. Dont deposit any money into this bank, the system is made to cheat you, scam you and to drain your money. "Unfortunately, this has been a terrible experience. I made an international transfer from Alinma Bank in Saudi Arabia to my Dukascopy account. The funds were withdrawn, all details were correct, and I had proof of the transfer. Yet Dukascopy rejected the funds without giving a clear reason. They referred me to an intermediary bank (Bankers Suisse) and gave unclear or incorrect transfer details, which caused confusion, delay, and unnecessary complications. The error is clearly from their side — they refused to support direct transfers and insisted on complicated indirect intermediary steps. Their support was slow, unprofessional, weak, and lacked accountability. One of their staff even wanted to terminate my account without any valid reason, which made this experience even more frustrating. Saudi Arabia is a globally recognized country, and I expected fair and transparent handling. Instead, communication was poor, explanations were vague, and follow-up was weak. Now, after all this, I completed a new video verification process again, fully cooperated, answered in Arabic, and followed the required steps. I also sent a follow-up email requesting activation/opening of a multi-currency card/account with a $100 deposit. As of May 19, 2026, I still have not received any proper reply, activation confirmation, or meaningful update from their side. I am seriously questioning why deeper investigation was not done into the earlier mistakes and handling of this case. As a customer, I am frustrated that repeated effort, verification, and compliance still led to rejection without solving the deeper issue behind this case. I sent all the required documentation and the proof of card ownership requested by the bank, but the verification process seems completely stuck. When contacting support via both the app chat and email, I only receive generic, automated responses stating that the responsible department is reviewing the case due to a "high volume of requests." "After many months of use they started charging me a fee of 0,5% in outgoing transfers because my account is supposed to have a lot of movements. Of course if Dukascopy gives 0% interest rate people would move money to other accounts or investment platforms instead of leaving the money there. My account application was unfairly rejected (Failed) not because of any document defect, but due to a clear misunderstanding and lack of patience from the Compliance Agent during the video call. The Incident: During my video identification, the agent asked for my Date of Birth (10 Feb 2001). As English is not my first language, I felt nervous and struggled to pronounce it fluently. To cooperate, I immediately tried to show my physical Bangladeshi Smart NID (which contains a chip and hologram) to the camera so the agent could verify the date himself. Instead of showing professionalism or giving me a few seconds to compose myself, the agent became visibly frustrated and abruptly terminated the call. Moments later, my status was marked as "Failed." The Contradiction: Support later claimed that NID cards are not allowed for video verification. This is a huge hypocrisy: If my NID was invalid, why did the Compliance Agent initiate the video interview after inspecting the card on camera? Starting the interview proves the document was initially accepted. Penalizing a genuine client for a momentary language barrier or poor internet resolution is discriminatory and unprofessional. Before I proceed with any expensive/complex step, I demand a logical explanation regarding the huge contradiction in your support process. 1. The "Hypocrisy" of the Situation: You stated in the chat that "It is not allowed to use the ID for video verification". MY LOGICAL QUESTION: If Bangladeshi NID cards are strictly prohibited for video calls, why did your Compliance Agent initiate the video interview with me after inspecting my NID on camera? Logic: If the document was invalid, the call should have been rejected instantly. The fact that the interview started proves that NID IS ACCEPTABLE for video verification. The Real Reason for Failure: The verification failed only because of my poor internet connection and my nervousness while speaking English (I struggled to pronounce my Date of Birth). It was a behavioral failure, NOT a document validity issue. 2. Why am I being treated differently? Does Dukascopy successfully verify other Bangladeshi clients using NID via video call? If YES: Why is my specific case being forced to postal mail when my NID is valid and smart-chipped? If NO: Why did you waste my time starting a video call in the first place? 3. Clarification on Passport Option: You mentioned waiting for a passport. If I obtain a Passport: Do you GUARANTEE that my account will be opened 100% via online Video Verification? Or will you again make excuses and ask for postal mail? I need a written commitment before I invest time in this. MY FINAL DEMAND: Since you accept NID via Post, it means the document itself is valid. The only issue was the video interview quality. I challenge you to give me ONE FINAL video call opportunity. I will ensure a high-speed connection and a translator if needed. Do not force me to use the postal method for a simple misunderstanding. The Barrier to Entry: Now, I am being forced to send notarized documents via international post. In Bangladesh, obtaining a passport takes 6–8 months due to government backlogs, and international postal services from remote areas are unreliable and risky for sensitive data. My Final Demand: My document is a legitimate, government-issued biometric Smart Card. I challenge Dukascopy to provide one final video call opportunity. I am ready with high-definition lighting, a stable connection, and a translator if necessary. Do not hide behind "postal requirements" for a mistake made by your own agent. In my review and findings Here are the inefficient parts of the Dukascopy Binary platform : 1) The platform takes a long time to open if your mobile suddenly runs out of charge. Not as active and quick as other brokers. It should have opened the app within seconds. 2nd) Timing: confusing trading duration/expiry time compared to other brokers. Example: If I want to trade for 2 hours, a trade starting from 5:50, I have to scroll up and down to calculate and see that it's 120 minutes. It would be easier if it were like UTC+1, 7:50, just set the time like this. 3rd) add trading tools; there are no technical tools in Dukacopy.
