UK Fixed Limited is a specialist property investigation, damp proofing, and building diagnostics company serving Cambridgeshire and surrounding areas . We focus on one thing above all else: finding the real cause of problems and fixing them properly, once and for all. Our work covers damp investigations, leak detection, water ingress surveys, condensation assessments, structural inspections, and remedial repair works for residential and mixed-use properties. Unlike many contractors who jump straight to selling treatments, UK Fixed Limited operates on a cause-first, evidence-led approach. We use professional inspection methods including moisture testing, thermal imaging surveys, visual structural assessment, and targeted investigative opening-up works where required. This allows us to accurately diagnose issues such as rising damp, penetrating damp, condensation, hidden leaks, roof leaks, plumbing leaks, masonry defects, sub-floor moisture problems, and ventilation failures before any repair work is recommended. Our clients include homeowners, landlords, property managers, letting agents, managing agents, and insurers who need clear, honest answers and dependable solutions. Every investigation is carried out with the aim of producing clear, practical, insurer- and agent-ready reports that explain the problem in plain English, show the evidence, and set out a priority-based remedial plan. This means you’re not paying for guesswork, unnecessary treatments, or repeat call-outs. UK Fixed Limited provides a wide range of services, including: Damp and moisture investigations, leak detection and tracing, water ingress surveys, condensation and mould assessments, thermal imaging inspections, sub-floor inspections and ventilation design, roof and building envelope surveys, structural moisture assessments, and defect diagnosis reports. We also carry out remedial works such as damp proof course (DPC) injection, repointing and masonry repairs, ventilation system upgrades, sub-floor ventilation installations, timber treatments, making good and reinstatement works, and targeted building repairs designed to solve the root cause rather than hide the symptoms. We understand how disruptive damp, leaks, and moisture problems can be. That’s why we offer a fast response service, with 24/7 availability for urgent issues and rapid report turnaround options for clients who need answers quickly. Whether it’s a recurring leak, persistent mould, unexplained damp patches, or concerns during a refurbishment or purchase, we provide clear answers, honest advice, and practical solutions. At UK Fixed Limited, we take pride in being straight-talking, thorough, and evidence-driven. We don’t oversell. We don’t guess. We investigate properly, explain what’s really going on, and recommend only the work that actually needs to be done. Our goal is simple: protect your property, your budget, and your peace of mind by fixing problems correctly the first time. If you’re looking for professional damp surveys, leak investigations, moisture diagnostics, or building defect reports , UK Fixed Limited is built for exactly that job: fast response, clear answers, and permanent fixes.See more
"Great experience came out so fast team was super friendly but the price was still very competitive thank you so much"
"Ben is friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I’m so pleased we met, as he was able to identify the cause of my damp issue during our initial discussion, and his assessment proved to be completely correct when he later visited my property. It wasn’t a major job, but I was genuinely surprised that, despite travelling a fair distance, he didn’t charge me for the work. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to anyone needing honest and reliable advice."
"Ben carried out 2 bathroom installations, excellent quality workmanship, no leaks - Did the job to timescale, highly recommend 👌"
"I had a fantastic experience with this damp inspection company. From the moment they arrived, it was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. They carried out a thorough and professional inspection, taking the time to explain each step and answer any questions I had. The final report was extremely detailed and easy to understand, and I really appreciated the video documentation of the entire process for my record keeping and clarity."
"Ben will bend over backwards for his clients. He never minds taking to time to talk things through with you. He always gets the job done and takes everything with a calm and understanding attitude which is rare for someone in the construction trade. Ben always tries to see it from the customers eyes as if he was finishing the job to the standard he would want on his own home."
"Ben is very friendly and professional, he done an excellent job, would highly recommend him"
"Ben is so knowledgeable and helpful - he was able to come out super quick to help me check a property I was buying at auction. I specifically wanted him to look of sites of damp. But he was able to offer guidance on much more than that because he is a registered builder. So grateful for his sense of urgency, and also his wisdom around all things building and construction."
"Highly recommend Ben and his team, Ben came to us after we had been badly let down by another builder/ contractor that left our house in absolute state. Ben and the Fixed team were great, they understood our anxiety caused by the previous contractor and went above and beyond to get pur project up and running again and with the end goal of getting us home in a safe building and environment for us and our family. They all worked so hard and what they accomplished in a short period of time was extremely welcomed considering what we had previously been through. Ben kept us updated with progress, put forward suggestions and ideas and got us and our family home again, in which we are forever grateful for. Since using Ben, I have recommended him and his team to a number of family members."
"I’ve used Fixed a number of times now for a range of issues - each and every experience has been excellent. Ben is dependable, highly skilled, and consistently professional in everything he does. He identifies and resolves the underlying problems which can cause much bigger issues later on. That proactive, long-term approach is something that is really valued. Fixed investigates and properly details out the issues and the solutions in a way others often don’t (but really should). The standard of work is consistently high. Ben is knowledgeable, practical, efficient, and focused on solving problems properly the first time. If you’re looking for a reliable, professional service, with genuine care put into each job, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fixed."
"Ben at Fixed UK is genuinely excellent. He originally came out to deal with one specific issue, and while he was there he carefully checked a few related things to make sure everything was working as it should. In doing so, he identified and resolved other underlying problems that could have caused bigger issues later on. I manage properties, so reliability and competence are essential. I’ve used Ben’s services several times now, and I consistently receive the same high standard of work. He’s practical, knowledgeable, efficient, and focused on solving problems properly the first time. What I particularly appreciate is that he takes a preventative, long-term approach rather than just doing a quick fix. It saves time, avoids repeat call-outs, and makes property management far less stressful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ben, dependable, skilled, and consistently professional."
"Had these round to look at our damp, they found the problem straight away and fixed it. Very professional service and friendly. Highly recommend"
"Amazing experience and an absolutely fantastic customer service. After being led down by a big company with an inconclusive leak detection report which was rather masking the problem than establishing it. Ben carried the survey very quickly, found the issue and the solution costed 3 times less the amount I was given to "cover it" instead of fixing it! I can't recommend the company and Ben enough. Thank you for your efficiency and professionalism."
