I bought a 1oz gold bar with a wire transfer today but unfortunately forgot to include the reference number (which is my fault). I reached out to the customer service team who said the payment should still go through as I made the transfer using account in my name. However I am still waiting to hear back from this. This has made me slightly nervous as I am buying from Gold Avenue for the first time. UPDATE: this has been fixed now.

Another seamless purchase with Gold Avenue. I did have a problem attempting to pay with my usual debit card but managed to pay with a different card. I think this may have been the bank at fault. I like the ownership certificate you are emailed and the free storage up to 10000 Swiss Francs. All good.

The app is easy to use. I had a first buy shipped and it worked out great. Now I store with Gold Avenue and so far, I'm really satisfied. The app clearly states what is in my wallet and updates its value.

Dear Madam / Sir, I received my package on Monday. Upon opening the package, I immediately noticed a bare and loose 24 karat 1 oz gold coin against a 25 oz hard plastic tube. Right away, I took photos of the scratches, signed in and used the contact form to inform you of this. It indicated a typical 48 hour response time. After submitting the form on 29 September with a message saying it was successful, we are nearing 96 hours since I informed, and there is still no reply. I do not find this situation acceptable. I paid the full premium of the gold coin and receive a scratched coin with a compromised premium. There needs to be a minimum amount of care taken when packaging such items. A capsule to protect a 24 karat gold coin costs less than CHF 1. I am still waiting for a solution. Thank you in advance. Best regards, Andrew

I've only done one order so far. The order was quick and easier. I did the order on a credit card just in case anything went wrong. I will give 3 stars at the moment. However once I come to selling plus seeing how the storage works with them I might well have to up the stars to 5.
