I’ve tried calling TWICE and messaging the people at apple to fix my Apple Cash account. Got HUNG UP on both times and the messages were absolutely of no help. They need to do better at helping fix actual customer issues rather than just sitting on their asses and doing the shit we can do AT HOME!!!

I just spent an hour on the phone with the Specialist of Goldmansachs Apple Card! I was transferred to 4 different departments because nobody could help me with my account. I just wanted help with updating my email address, because my previous email was compromised and I was unable to access, view, or make any payments to my Apple Card account. I've called previously regarding this same issue and thought I was going to get some kind of assistance. Before the 4th Specialist answered the phone, the recording stated to be kind because they're human too, I had to laugh! The 4th Specialist was unable to assist and wanted to transfer me to a 5th Specialist! I wish they would just tell you why they really can't assist initially to avoid the delay of being hung up on while waiting for the 5th Specialist! What good are your specialist if they can’t resolve the issues customers call in for!!!

If I could leave no stars, I would. I’m already dealing with the death of a family member and Goldman Sachs makes it 100x harder. I simply want to pay the last bill of my deceased family member. I’ve been trying to do so since February. They need all the probate information. I sent it in; they claim it was not received so he’s no longer marked as deceased. I feel like this is a joke to them. Every other credit card company let me pay and they closed the account after I sent in the death certificate. Goldmach Sachs makes a mockery of family member’s grief and then doubles down and claims to be much more secure so they can’t accept emails or faxes as is the industry norm. I would never recommend them.

Congratulations to Goldman Sachs for having the worst customer service agents in the world, after spending and hour and a half on the phone trying to resolve a credit card problem I asked if I could escalate the issue. He asked me four times what the word escalate means. Totally clueless. You need to switch to AI and get rid of incompetent staff

I made a small payment mistake, corrected it the next day, and requested a one-time interest refund — my first ever. Goldman Sachs flat-out refused, showing zero flexibility or understanding. Their customer service was cold, robotic, and completely unhelpful. I’ve taken my business to a credit card company that actually values customers. Avoid them if you expect real support.

Our experience with Goldman Sachs was abysmal, and we strongly caution anyone considering their services. The poor service provided by Pernille Thuesen was nothing short of frustrating. She was unprofessional, and repeatedly failed to address our concerns or provide any meaningful update. It was clear she lacked both any concern and a sense of urgency, blaming others GS staff for the short coming, which we found uncomfortable. It felt like we were more of an inconvenience than a client. We must mention, Anothny Gutman and Bertie Whitehead who come recommended, offering a competent and efficient service. GS’s internal disorganization are glaring issues that should not be overlooked. Even with Anthony Gutman’s assistance, the attitude of others in the team made the entire process distressing and unnecessarily complicated. Pernille Thuesen insinuated she receives less than other team members, we are not sure what that has to do with the service we should be receiving. We have attempted to email on the GS complaints email address provided, but GS provided no response. We called to ask for a reply which we were told would be the same week. We called again and the person we spoke to said they now could not find any complaint. Therefore, we are posting this review to make other clients aware. They still have our data so we have not posted all details available. We would strongly advise against using Goldman Sach’s services. There are plenty of other financial institutions that offer far superior service and professionalism. Our advice: use another financial institution unless of course you enjoy dealing with an organisation that clearly does not value its clients.

I have an Apple Card via Goldman Sachs. They tout the card is secure with the use of a virtual card feature. I had issues with suspected fraud so I requested a replacement virtual number. I was immediately provided a new virtual number. I had a subscription that I intentionally did not update my credit card number as I no longer wanted the service. I discovered the service was able to get paid with the old virtual number. I was told by a Goldman Sachs representative that “sometimes” MasterCard with provide a vendor new card numbers as a “courtesy”. How is that secure if I request a new virtual number and they provide the new number to a vendor without my permission? Users beware this feature is not always secure!

One star is the lowest available. Most of the staff in the 529 department didn't get enough training to do the job. This has caused weeks of delay and having to restart the process.

Never again Goldmann Sachs ! A closed fond suddenly closed and my money was lost. No replies, no answers, nothing. After investing 200.000 € I had not even the money for a lawyer.

I put them to the test by making a tiny deposit that grew rapidly, but they prevented me from withdrawing when I tried. Everything on company name on my profile photo is easy to use very appealing and pays well.

The executives at Goldman Sachs should be embarrassed about what is happening under their supervision with the Apple Card fiasco. I am one of many who have unfortunately experienced fraudulent charges on an Apple Card account. I have spoken to the Goldman Sachs Dispute Department more than seven times to try and resolve the matter. The account was closed twice and disputes were supposedly resolved. Two months later, Goldman Sachs reinstated all the incorrect charges on the closed account with interest and attempted to set up a payment plan. It's unbelievable that they expect me to pay for the charges made by the hacker, and now interest is accruing each day. I cannot get anyone to help; it is the most unprofessional organization I have ever encountered. Stay away from anything associated with Goldman Sachs.

Goldman Sachs first wouldn't process my application for an Apple Card, even though I have an 810 credit score. I guess because I pay off my CC's every month, I'm not their type of client. Then when Apple intervened and helped me get my card, I used it to buy a Mac, paid the bill in full and then they held me back from using it again for 8 days because they said I was using it too much. Worst bait and switch I've ever seen. It sucks that we bailed them out with our tax dollars in 2008, they should have failed.

Bought a GS bond. They called it as of today. Now 19 minutes before the end of the trading day. No cash. Greedy buggers want to hold on to the cash as long as they can and I cant reinvest overnight

Goldman Sachs (Apple Card) Review – Poor Customer Support & Unhelpful Service I reached out to Goldman Sachs, the bank backing the Apple Card, to request a review of my credit limit decrease, expecting a fair and reasonable discussion. Instead, I was met with dismissive and unhelpful customer service from both a representative and a supervisor. I spoke with Hector, a customer service specialist, who repeatedly told me to dispute my credit limit decrease with the credit agency, even though that wasn’t what I was requesting. I pointed out that my TransUnion credit report showed an increase in my credit score, but rather than actually reviewing my request, he ignored my concerns and continued suggesting something irrelevant. When I asked for a supervisor, I was transferred to Monica, expecting a more thoughtful review. Instead, she gave the exact same unhelpful response without actually addressing my questions. Then, while I was in the middle of responding, she abruptly ended the chat, cutting off the conversation entirely. To make matters worse, instead of trying to resolve the issue, I was baited into trying to close my account, as if that was the only solution they were willing to offer. At no point did they make any real effort to keep me as a customer or provide any actual assistance. This was an extremely frustrating and impersonal experience. Goldman Sachs, as the financial institution behind the Apple Card, failed to provide customer support that is fair, reasonable, or even willing to listen. If you’re looking for a credit card issuer that values its customers, I would not recommend them.

I applied for their premium card after seeing all their flashy ads about instant approval and huge credit limits. It sounded like a good deal at first. I was instantly approved and given a credit line of over $300000. But that was where the problems started. I tried to make a purchase later that day and the transaction was declined. I thought maybe it was an issue with the store but when I logged into my account it showed the card was locked with no reason. No email no text no explanation. I spent hours trying to reach their customer service and when I finally got through they told me the account was under review. No timeline for when it would be resolved. A few days later they asked me to verify my identity which I did immediately. Weeks later and still nothing. I have sent countless emails and made calls but nobody can give me a straight answer. They are holding my $300000 limit hostage and I have no access to anything. What makes it worse is their customer service is rude and dismissive. They talk to you like you are the problem when all you are doing is asking for what is rightfully yours. If not for the help I got from the company in my profile pic I would probably still be stuck dealing with these scammers. If you are thinking of doing business with them I strongly suggest you think again. This is not a company you can trust.

I am filing this complaint against Marcus by Goldman Sachs (GS), who issued me a GM Card in 2023. I have had a GM for 27 years with no late payment history and had a credit score of 845 until GS posted that I had been delinquent over 30 days. I have reached out to GS 5 times to resolve this issue and submitted a complaint to the BBB. The complaint to the BBB was closed to the customers dissatisfaction, since GS stated that I opted into electronic billing, which is not true. I did find out that when GS asked you to make an online account they automatically enroll you in electronic billing. I found this out from a GS customer service representative (CSR). I have multiple credit cards which I rotate through several years. I was unaware of this bill until I received a late notification in the mail. I called GS the same day and paid the balance of 7.40, as per the CSR, I also was informed that there would be no late notification sent to the credit bureaus. The next month I received a bill for 0.12, and I paid this the same day as well. One month later is when the late notice went in and my credit took a hit. I have reached out to GS multiple times to resolve this, with no positive resolution. Please all consumers be warned the GS doesn't care. Here are some facts that a Google search will provide: 1. The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau in Oct/24 filed an order against GS. 2. Consumer Affairs rate the GM card managed by GS as a 1.1 out of 5. 3. Trust Pilot rate GS as a 1.4 out of 5. 4. Multiple articles through Reddit, myfico forums, and Cadillac forums reflecting: A. Financial mismanagement. B. Horrible customer service. C. Potential fraudulent practices. Realize that GS has done such a bad job that they are selling the GM card business to Barclays which should be settled soon. To summarize, I did not sign up for electronic billing, therefore how can I be late to make a payment? However, when I was notified of the bill I promptly paid in full. This was such an easy win situation for GS. I believe they simply don't care since they are divesting themselves of this business, while leaving a wake of disgruntled consumers in their wake.
