"I bought a 18BX bandsaw with a mobile base. The base install went well but it didn’t work. It bent out of shape when I tried to use it. Within one week of purchase I was on the phone with Christopher. He said that their engineers were working on a solution and offered to send a new one. I said I would like to wait for the solution. Now months later and they have ghosted me. I have sent several emails and voicemails but no response. Don’t buy a Laguna tool. Buy from someone who will be there for you."
"I have the Laguna 19" drum sander. One of the few tools I am sorry I ever bought. Spoke with two other shop owners who feel the same way. difficult to impossible to keep the very expensive abrasive belts on the drum. Burned more wood than I can stand. rude customer service,"

"My experience with Laguna Tools has been an absolute nightmare from start to finish. This turned into a 6+ month ordeal full of delays, poor communication, and zero accountability. After paying a deposit and signing a lease, I later found out the machine I purchased was a demo unit that was sent to a trade show AFTER my payment. From that point forward, it was constant delays and long periods with no response from representatives unless I escalated to upper management. When the machine finally arrived, it had at least 5 major issues. During installation, Laguna’s own technician confirmed that one of the motors was not working right out of the box — the machine has never been operational. After two full days of failed installation and troubleshooting, things got even worse — the back door of the unit (housing the processors) literally fell off during the process. That alone speaks volumes about the condition this machine was delivered in. Instead of taking responsibility and resolving the situation properly, I was stuck dealing with ongoing issues. Unwinding the lease became another nightmare, with delays, confusion, and being caught in the middle between Laguna and the financing company. This situation cost real time, money, and business opportunities. If your business depends on reliable equipment and support, avoid Laguna at all costs."

"Save yourself the headache — do not buy from Laguna Tools. I spent serious money on one of their lathes last August. The digital display died the second time I turned it on. What followed was months of tech support runaround, being expected to perform a complicated electrical repair myself with no offer of a service technician, and then having a replacement card blow up because Laguna neglected to mention it had a 110/220 voltage switch that needed to be set correctly before use. That is not a customer error. That is a company failing to communicate critical safety information. It is now February. The machine still does not work. Emails go unanswered. Their website contact form disappears into a void. Phone calls result in messages taken with zero return calls. Six months of this. For the price they charge, this level of post-sale support is insulting. If something goes wrong with your Laguna equipment — and based on my experience, there is a real chance it will — do not expect them to stand behind it. I wish I had known this before I bought."
"Ordered 4 saw blades on 6/4/2025. One showed up in September after repeatedly calling customer service. I cancelled the order for the other 3 the end of October after numerous additional calls to customer service and requested a refund. It's been nearly a month and so far, no refund. DO NOT order from this company. Had I read the reviews, I never would have ordered. Never again!!!"

"Laguna customer service do not care about customer. Asked them to help me with my CNC, all they pushed for is service call for $1400 just to show up. Scott Arnold who did not know shit about cnc wasted my time for four weeks to tell me that I need a service call just to make $1400. Do not buy any of their machines you will not have any support."
"Lathe VFD packed up after 2 years Non existent customer service from Laguna, didn’t even acknowledge my email. I will never buy from this company again."

"5/2025 I purchased a $1200 saw from Laguna Tools. I needed assistance registering my saw. I was finally able to reach a person (approximately an hour) after many calls and messages, the customer service was awful. after my registration was complete and i asked to speak with a manager. i was told she didn't have one. After a while i was told HR is her manager. she then transferred me to another associate (not a manager) who refused to help me connect to a manager. two weeks later they will not respond to any e-mails. i've sold that saw and will never buy another laguna tool (replaced with a Saw Stop)."
"Laguna Tools are based in the US. The problem with Laguna appears to reach over to the Uk, which is where I am based. I wish that I had put a little more effort into looking at what people had to say about this company before I spent £4500.00 with them. I Purchased a fusion 3 table saw and a 14BX band saw. The money was quickly accepted by laguna but I didn't receive the bandsaw for 10 months. After setting the machines up, I found that I had little use for the bandsaw for several months due to the type of work I had undertaken. Even though the machine was as good as new, the switch suddenly failed. This is where the problems began. Laguna, though their agent here was a great help, Laguna did not respond to our initial enquiries where we were seeking to replace the switch. When I attempted to use their 24 month guarantee/warranty which was advertised on their website, they replied stating that the 24 month guarrantee/warranty only applied to the US and that the UK was only 12 months. Thats not only misleading but useless when it takes them 10 months to deliver the item. Their site also advertised a different table saw to the one I received. The saw I recieved had a different sitch set up and a different saw guard. Really? Their representative here, tried his best to help me resolve my issue, after they had ignored him too. He opened a machine that he had in his showroom and we attempted some electrical testing procedure of the switch and the contactor, along with the door and brake switches. Alas, we could not resolve the issue, which left me with a very new machine that I could not use. When you lay out a substantial amount of money, and find that the company that you purchased from have a zero aftersales service that I can do little about from here, you've truly wasted your money. It would have been so easy for Laguna to have a quick telephone conversation with me to try and establish the problem and avoid negative feedback of this nature. Laguna really need to sweat the small stuff and update their website for the British market. I felt that if I could help anyone else in their decision making when looking to purchase this type of equipment, and it helps you to avoid a company like Laguna, then I've achieved something positive from my experience. Good luck."
