"So my son has this card. Was okay until someone in a whole different state hacked it and took his money. One DD charge and one Uber. Trying to get Modak to solve this has not been easy nor efficient. They put the responsibility back on me and said I had to reach out to the other companies and try to get my money back. Which how do you get theu to DoorDash or Uber? Ifeel as if this is your card you should fight for me with fraud charges and get my money back."

"I really loved the option where I can set chores and the kids could complete them and I could pay my kids daily for the chores they did. And it worked great for appx 3-4 months.. the chores were recurring, and the kids kept marking complete, and I kept paying them. Unfortunately, after a few months of it working as planned, all of a sudden all the chores started getting deleted daily. I started having to put the chores in every day but the next day they would be gone again. The worst part is I got a new phone number. Apparently there is no way for a parent to change their phone number. Instead they need to contact customer service; however, their policy is you have to have a phone bill with your name on it for them to change it. My phone bill is in my wife’s name. I do not have a phone bill in my name. Their response was “that was not a problem, if you have another phone in your name that would work too.” Why on earth would I have two phones, one in my wife’s name and one in my name? Ridiculous. I am trying to log in to my parent account and it is sending a pin to my old phone number, but I am not getting it because I have a new number. So I am sitting here with money in my account with no way to access my account. They are holding my money hostage and refuse to change my phone number. They are stealing my money since I have no access to it. Now looking at all the complaints, no doubt they will reply to this complaint with a “we are sorry for this experience. we would love for a chance to fix this.” So in the public’s eye they want to look like they are trying to fix it. But I have already been talking to them and they are refusing to fix it. I do not recommend this company. Everything worked great at first but then the problems started creeping in. And now that I have changed my number, they are steeling my money. Customer service is a joke. Do not do it, stay away from this company."

"The associate from individual from the Help chat was named Tree. This associate was warm, professional, friendly and quite relatable with Tree. Things were simple, straightforward, and receptive. It’s definitely changed my experiences with chat windows for help. He understood what was going on and provided the assistance that I needed and even offered more. He wasn’t pushy about anything or trying to upsell me for any extras or a subscription. It was just genuine help. I wish all customer service training was as smooth as the interaction I had today.
