He was beyond knowledgeable in this field,He is/was courteous, efficient, genuine and just an overall breath of fresh air. I currently rent with them and it's the worst property management company I've ever had the displeasure to do business with. When we came to view the property, the lock box didn't work and because they don't use local agents, we weren't able to get in until 3 DAYS later after calling their "help line" multiple times. The property was great and so was the location but when we went to sign, we were told we had to use their pest control service instead of transferring ours. Turns out, their pest control service only comes out if there is an infestation, but you will still be billed monthly. It took a month of messaging them to get the lock box removed from our front door. We moved in to a broken oven, and a/c unit that took a month to fix because they just have terrible communication. When I asked the status of the oven repair, they weren't even aware the replacement part had arrived. It took almost a month for our garage to be fixed when the sensor broke and the day the repair man was supposed to come, he called and said he was on his way, and I left work and waited at the house for 2 hours without him showing. I called their "help line" again for them to find out where the repairman was and they got back to me THE NEXT day. Horrible company. Avoid at all costs.
We put our home in the hands of Mynd thinking we were paying well for good management. Instead, we were charged for terrible service on the main fix up, and the sneaky inspections that continued to list items to “repair” for under $500 were beginning to add up. We were charged for a “cedar or similar gate” which is pine that is already coming unscrewed a couple months later. They neglected the stained carpet completely and even left a broken toilet paper roll in the wall, but called the house “rent ready”. I’m sure they wanted to charge yet another contractor visit to “fix” the stuff they left undone. The “hotel” clean house had dust and paint everywhere. Communication was dismissive and bordered on dishonest. I pulled out within three months, and luckily they didn’t manage to rent the home, so I wasn’t charged even more. We already have a new tenant moving in after paying more to get the house truly ready. This was a totally scammy experience and incredibly costly and disappointing.

If you're thinking about renting from Mynd Property Management—don’t. My family originally rented from Streetlane Homes back in 2021 and had a great experience. Everything was smooth, professional, and respectful. But in 2024, we were told Mynd was taking over. That’s when the nightmare began. In February 2025, Mynd started aggressively pushing us to sign a new lease. I signed right away, but my wife didn’t—and they kept hounding us for months until she finally did. Our lease has always started at the end of May, so we gave our 30-day notice on May 7, 2025, because we were buying a home. We moved out before June 1. Now they’re claiming we owe $4,000—including back utilities we already paid—and they’ve withheld our security deposit. It’s dishonest and infuriating. Mynd has been nothing but a headache. If you value transparency, fair treatment, and basic professionalism, steer clear. They are crooked as hell.
Avoid Avoid Avoid Avoid Mynd Management I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication I’ve received from Mynd Management. I have repeatedly asked for confirmation that, as long as I provided a 30-day notice of early lease cancellation, I could break my lease. I was told this would be documented without penalty. Now I am being told that I must continue paying rent until my lease ends on 2/3/26 or until a new tenant moves in. This is unacceptable. I moved here to provide a safer environment for my children, but instead, I am dealing with drug activity, loitering, trash and beer bottles being thrown in the yard, and strangers knocking on the door late at night. I’ve even installed cameras because people are walking between the houses at one or two in the morning. This is not a safe or suitable living environment for a family, and it directly violates the expectation of habitability and safety that comes with a lease agreement.

Our rental home was moved to MYND earlier this year from PR, and the rule of thumb is that when a change occurs, it brings about some other change, and it did. A week or two after they took over, we noticed a large crack in the master bathtub that they promptly took care of and did not charge us. When we bought our new home and moved out, we expected (based on reviews) not to get most of our deposit back. I mean, we did live in the home for 4 years, and there is some natural wear and tear that occurred. I know for a fact that my teenage daughter's room needed some paint, especially around where her bed was placed. We scheduled our move out, we even completed a week early, and we had a professional come in and clean. To our surprise, we received all of our deposit back, and we are very thankful. If we are ever in the position of needing a rental again, we will definitely consider MYND.
Fast and consistent communication
Honestly in my opinion go ahead and move somewhere else, there is no trash they never come fix nothing. They always say we will call you back and give you some information and never does, I throw trash somewhere wrong and they give me 245$ fine, everyone is rude !! And there is no parking, there is no WiFi nor signal in this area trust me move somewhere else better and cheaper. They add so much extra stuff for no reason. AC/heat don’t work, If I know was this bad I would have never moved here I would rather go pay 2k a month to move somewhere else then this place.
I have lived in my townhouse for over 6 years, Mynd is the 4th property management company and the ONLY thing they do is collect rent. They will do nothing but send in second rate contractors to nickel and dime any maintenance request. I have had to personally pay for someone to come mow the grass for the ENTIRE complex because the grass was over a foot high. They have not one single local person to come out to inspect property or help fix issues. I have had my lower floor flood 4 separate times now, the last time being 12 days ago (talking standing rain water) and NOTHING has been done, though I send requests daily. I am told they "will look into it" and then crickets. They are honestly the worst property management group I have dealt with in over 20 years.
I am property owner, these guyz are abolsutely Worst property managers. They constantly keep charging for maintenance and repairs as below $500 is prepapproved per thier contract. so you can expect to see a bill less than $500 with out proof of service completion every 2 months. They work with Service companies and run a scam. my home is new construction and I am dealing with constant charges and repairs as I am not local they are taking me for a ride. They do not provide issue details, rather than changing batterries in carbon monoxide or smoke detectors they change the entire detector and charge bill just below $500. They change parts that are unnecessary, No OEM purchase receipts, no warranties for thier service. I spoke to thier service departments heads, they take no accountability. Worst Property management company for Owners for sure!
First official work order as a resident ...Trees not only trimmed completely & cleaned up I am a very satisfied resident of the Mynd community .Thank you so much to Rachel for taking care of my issues and the guys who work for them did an awesome job.
All these extra move-in and added on monthly fees are comically ridiculous and we shouldn't put up with them. $60 application fee? $200 "move-in" fee? Are you out of your mind? Loving this new standard of bloat fees being legal.
