Do not use NatWest! I am a Sainsbury's bank customer who have moved over to NatWest who are more than useless. As soon as I can I will be cancelling my credit card. On their website it tells you you will not loose access to your account yet you can't access it on the Sainsbury's bank app or website or the NatWest app or website - then when you speak to Cora it more than useless. Rubbish bank/switch over as soon as its up & running will be paying-off & cancelling my credit card.

I have been victim of fraud and spoke to the fraud team to resolve my issue,and once that was done,ordered new card. When I received a new card not working at the atm machine, I had to call them again and explained what had happened. no apology, and the person I spoke to at the end,this is her take good care of yourself. Worst bank I have ever been with for the last 10 years

been a victim of fraud, and when explaining the situation it was declined on the basis of Apple Pay needing a password, a password can be guessed/cracked into give the money was spent on things I do not have any history of spending, this was not taken into consideration all because of a password so somebody has spent this money and gotten away with it and there was no care onto the impact of me as the victim

My experience using this bank has not been a great one with the poor interest, The overall service is poor and the customer support is below average . Learning about RAW MINE and navigating through the process was a pivotal moment for me . Superb service and very top notch pay.

This review is on behalf of a friend who does not have internet banking. She has received a letter from NatWest about the transfer to them. She has used the card to pay for her weekly shop which she phones Sainsbury’s to order. She is completely confused as no mention is made of her being able to continue using her new NatWest card, once it is issued, in any way other than online or on the App. Absolutely disgusting behaviour which is frightening a lot of old people who do not want or who are unable to do everything on line.

I am trying to open a new savings account. After an hour i got told that i cannot open an account because I do not have a mobile. I was told to enter someone else s mobile - how dangerous is that?

After working for what was a great bank in my younger years , I have now decided to go elsewhere . I had a good lump sum a few years ago and in Retford branch ( now closed ) I asked the assistant about a stocks and shares account , she said the only account was a premier which in 2019 was offering a zilch interest rate . I actually don’t think she knew what I was talking about . I had a loan for an emergency and paid it back in half the time . Then go and have a look at their diabolical transunion credit report . It does not change for months on end. Quite frankly I don’t think they know what they are doing , they gave me an overdraft of £500 which I had not used and hey ho , this morning they have halved it for no apparent reason . I was scammed and you get letters from Manchester , Chelmsford . When I queried the interest rate I was charged for the loan , I received a sweet little letter from Manchester saying that they charged the interest rate relevant at the time to my credit file !!!! What an absolute load of rubbish !!!! They had a couple of months before sent me letters offering me a loan ( obviously a mail shot ) and the interest rate was much lower !!!!! . Too many head offices in too many different places , dealing with too many different arms of banking . My very last comment is the the atrocious chat bot , cora , it cannot understand the simplest query, instruction etc . To those at the top who are running this institution, LISTEN TO WHAT YOUR CUSTOMERS ARE TELLING YOU , THEY ARE LEAVING IN DROVES !!!!!

I am so glad that the NatWest branch is in. Norbury is finally closed on London Road, London SW16 4BZ. As the manageress was the rudest asian woman anyone could meet. Her responses were always cold and she was not fit to be a manager at this branch or any other Natwest branch throughout the UK. Hope she is not working in another branch of NatWest as she is not customer-focused and was incompetent in her replies, her focus was not to help customers but to hinder them, maybe she knew she was losing her job hence the bad attitude towards the public. Good riddance to rude staff at this branch !! The best site was to see the back of her! Date of experience when I drove past this closed branch. Happy 😊

After getting the wrong answers from Cora I have now been in a queue for twenty three hours waiting for help. The people on the phone say they don’t have as much information so I have to use Cora or visit a branch and the nearest one is 20 miles away

Absolutely rubbish customer service. The call handler was not interested in my request. Absolutely rude, if they don't want to work, then someone rkse will. Unbelievable that us tax payers bailed out a s@@t company.

Hi, I've been trying for weeks to re activate online banking. 3 activation codes they send don't work due to the post being rubbish too. The guy who we eventually got through too ( a miracle we actually got a human to pick up)was completely useless repeating from a script. I'm going yo move banks I've had enough. 50 years and now this utter frustration with a really terrible service. NATWEST YOU'RE A DISGRACE AND YOU DON'T EVEN CARE.

Terrible terrible bank, always get cut off, huge wait times, incompetent staff, and complete fraudsters. How they are still allowed to Trade is beyond me. Certainly going to open a case with the FCA.

Had spray foam in the house they made us pay for an expensive roof report , roof timbers were fine, spray foam not causing any damage. NatWest said they would give us a mortgage if it wasn't removed. So it's not actually case by case basis like their website says and I wasted money on roof report they ignored the findings of! They don't differentiate between open and closed cell. Government backed roof insulation was a waste of time and money install and removal costs! Complaint to customer service was a waste of time too cus all they really said was that they were just following a "policy" that they wouldn't let me read! Also lied to me about not accepting a certificate but wanted a second roof survey (more of my money wasted) . Certificate was accepted with no problems!

I have a complaint that has been going on since 23 Jun 2025 and despite SO MANY calls and emails to NatWest that I can't even remember, despite dealing with MULTIPLE staff including TWO idiots in the Customer Complaints Team who are NEVER AT THEIR DESKS, despite MULTIPLE BROKEN PROMISES... I am STILL WAITING. You are USELESS NatWest.

I am very disappointed with this experience. After a call, during which I believed my identity had been verified, I was later told it had not been accepted and that I should visit a branch instead to present two sets of ID at a local branch. Without any prior notice, my accounts were locked — including online and mobile banking access to three accounts.Thankfully, I am able to get to the branch quickly, but this process is unacceptable. Locking accounts without warning causes unnecessary stress and inconvenience. This is not the level of service I expect.
