Options Income Academy

"I followed Steve (via Youtube) for at least half a year. I have trading experience and use a trade similar to the FlyD (aka Flydagonal), but structured differently. But it wasn't "the" trade, just "a" trade, which failed regularly. So, I was intrigued that someone worked out mechanics and trade plan for the trade to make a clear winner. I started course after the big SPX run-up of April-May 2026 (+1300 points in 1.5 month). I took a few losses during that time, and sat disorganized and unsure, having a "trader's block". That's when, I thought, I need a good mentorship and good trading plans, to not be afraid of occasional losses and power forward with a solid strategy. One thing I immediately noticed with the course is that it's a lonely place. There was no chat or forum to let students communicate among themselves and with the mentor in a clearly visible manner (e.g. to avoid repeatedly asking the same question - one person asks, other can see it). The only way to communicate was to leave comments at the particular lesson, with Steve replying to them, but that's not that level of visibility at all. Next thing which I noticed is that some matters are omitted in the lessons, e.g. the question of the max loss on different variants of Flyagonal. But the most important thing, the course didn't offer a complete trade plan. Like, it offered discussion of mechanics, catalog of adjustments, and some other guidelines, but not a complete plan to consistently enter trades and deal with losing trades, to actually stay on the positive side of PnL. I thought that practical part would clear that up, and activated the Alerts Service. Turned out to be more lively place, with an active forum where participants and Steve himself regularly posted. That alone made it better value than the course itself. Next thing, I noticed that Steve still runs trades started during the big run-up, started from end-April to mid-May. I had similar trades and closed them for reasonable loss weeks ago. Steve kept fighting them, leading to close to max losses. There were no new trades for a while. I asked, free Youtube videos promised 4-5 trades, where are they? The response was: look, there're trades. Those losing trades started weeks ago and bleeding to max loss. Then, there's an PYPL wheel. If you remember, there was PYPL crash months before, I joined, and Steve got caught with it. In his list, that trade still takes up a slot, so you can't trade something new with it active. Then, finally a trade. Profitable trade. Closed for gross $80 profit in a day or two. That's when I learned that the stats provided by Steve actually don't include full commission costs. He counts some $0.25 per leg, which aren't true cost even for him, and for most people, it's $1.5+ per leg, so from $80 gross profit, you actually retain ~$50. Then there were more trades. Some profitable up to $200 or so. Some - and regularly - problematic, taking a lot of time, leading to losses. Over time, the pattern became clear - a problematic trade takes "slot" for long time, blocking new trades from being started. Then when bad trade is finally over, in a twist of "trader's luck", a newly started one also becomes problematic. Then vicious cycle repeats. So, I found myself in the same dreadful situation I was before taken the course: the bad trades prevailed, there was indecisiveness/fear (or bad planning if you want) to open new trades while the bad were running, and there was no trade plan to guide re: what's right and what's wrong. I provided feedback to Steve to address the problems described above, TrustPilot review limits don't let me got into details, bu they were: a) Add forum for the course itself - the only which was done; b) Release JSON data for previous analysis to help with community analysis; c) run paper trade campaigns towards establishing a trade plan. The last 2 were downplayed/ignored/rejected. My conclusions based on 3-month experience: * Flyagonal is highly risky strategy, requiring special tools to be successful * Based on watching Steve's trading and working, I don't think he has good enough idea of what he's doing * I didn't learn much - the course lacks crucial parts to apply strategy successfully, and the practice shows the same anti-patterns as I already knew - lack of clear plan, indecisiveness/blockage by bad trades, not enough repetitions to come to statistical edge (if it exists). * There's that feeling, when you know, you want to buy something expensive, e.g. a timeshare, when you're courted, provided with a lot of bright information and attention, but all turn much more bleak once you actually paid money. It may be ok for Steve to do it the way he does, but as a paying customer, I'm dissatisfied, and I wanted to share details with other interested parties, so they can assess themselves."

"I purchased the complete package from Options Income Academy, and it's been the best investment I've made with any trading platform. Steve stands out in two ways. First, he can genuinely teach. I've been through his butterfly classes, his calendar classes, and his flyagonal classes, and all three are excellent. He explains things clearly and never skips the why. The butterfly classes showed me how a position is actually built and where the risk really sits. The calendar classes are what finally made time value click for me. And the flyagonal classes have been the game changer it's the piece I use the most, and it gave me a repeatable process instead of guessing. Second — and this is what you don't get on most platforms — the access. Steve is there, and he responds. Good trading days and bad ones, he's a hundred percent transparent. You see what works and what doesn't, and it feels like he's in the market with you the whole time rather than handing you a video and disappearing. If you want to learn the mechanics instead of chasing signals, this is the right place."

"The marketing videos make the Flyagonal strategy sound simple and profitable, but it's actually very complex, frustrating and unprofitable. After 2 months of trading this strategy, I have executed 7 of the alerted trades and lost money on 6 of the 7 trades. I could not enter 2 other trades because I was working. I have stopped entering the alerted trades so I can stop the bleeding. The strategy is complex (6-8 legs) and therefore almost all of the entries require 1-2 adjustments (2-3 tries) to get filled, just to enter the trade. Then when trades go against you, you have to adjust them again. The adjustments sometimes take multiple tries to execute. The same goes for the exits, they require 1-2 adjustments (2-3 tries) just to exit the trade. I can't constantly monitor whether the entries or exits are filled and adjust them multiple times on both entry and exit. The timing of the entries, adjustments and exits is crucial to the profitability of this strategy."

"I found Steve and his OIA while looking for quality options training. I already knew the basics, using cash secured puts, covered calls, and LEAPS to support my active portfolio management. What I wanted was a separate options only bucket to lift my annual return. I took the full package. I started with Options Trading for Beginners, then moved to the Deep Dive Butterfly and Deep Dive Calendars/Diagonals courses, and recently finished Deep Dive Flyagonal. Over the past four months, the courses and Steve's Options Income Alert service have changed how I understand options and what I expect from the markets. The courses are well structured, and Steve answers every question quickly. I have learned more from following his live trades and talking with him than from the training on its own. The best part: the first two live trades I opened, a FlyB and a FlyD, already paid back my investment. I now plan to make Flyagonals the main driver of my options income. I have spent thousands of dollars on training over the last ten years. What set OIA apart is that it took me from a beginner to a trader with a real plan. If you are serious about options trading, join the OIA community."

"I have been trading for over 15 years now. Moved from day trading small caps to large caps for the first 5 years. Then started the options education with TD Ameritrade with their excellent “coaches” and it was fine with acceptable performance. I learned the basics; verticals, diagonals, butterflies, condors, synthetics, etc.. I first started to follow Steve a few years ago on his contribution for OptionStrat. I followed his weekly reviews as well as his trade ideas posts and learned a lot from him. The flyagonal strategy made me nervous at first but last month I decided to pay for the course and plunged. Finished it today. The course is simple to follow, logical, clearly illustrated and it covers almost any question one could raise. The Alert Service he provides is also clearly laid out and will only make sense when the entire course is covered. I paper traded last month’s trades and it is clear that the win rate will be improved compared to my previous performance. I look forward to having a SWAN (Sleep Well At Night) experience with the SPX flyD strategy with few daily adjustments at the end of each trading day. I highly recommend the courses for anyone seeking a reputable trader offering a solid strategy that has been proven and tested out. Another point worth mentioning, Steve is very quick at responding to any email or query."

"Steve is a great teacher and very responsive. His FlyD trade was a stroke of genius. The problem is implementing it using Option Traders Assistant. That platform is the only one that I know of that allows opening an 8 legged trade with a one button click. But OTA's UI, while loaded with bells and whistles, is not very intuitive. In my opinion, it needs a lot more work in order to make Steve's trades easier to implement. That's the only reason for my 4 star rating...otherwise Steve's program and teaching are 5 star all the way."

"I just sent sent Steve this email. "Steve, even though I had watched all of Charles' introductory videos at least once, some a few times, your video "OTA Tutorial with LIVE Flygonal Trade" really was a game changer for me. You have a real talent for getting right to the central points of what OTA does for you, plus your remarks about your pre-OTA experience really echoed with me. Also, I am getting good value from my subscription to OIA and feeling more confident that I am on the right path." Thankfully I found Steve Ganz and OIA on YouTube and became a subscriber/follower after watching several of his videos."

"I started trading options in 2011. Started to be modestly profitable in 2014 with ups and downs and years in and years out. Only normality I guess. Then life made me meet Steve Ganz in late 2023. Humm, after having tried a number of coaches, courses, alert services, mentors, even some being considered gurus in options trading, I said to myself "Humm with Steve Ganz, I feel there is something new an dpowerful" at least for me. His service was rather new at that time. I had some trouble following the service with my material. I had to suspend in 2024 but Steve stayed in my mind. I tried again in 2025. It was better material wise. Then, the game changer in my options trading occurred. Actually, by that time Steve had finalised his new setup, the flyagonal, a 6 legged beast result of his extensive experience in options trading ciombined with in-depth IA research. After I started to try it, I knew it would dramatically change my options trading and following trades have confirmed. The Options trading Assistant (OTA) tool is part of the winning package. For the first time in 14 years of trading, I have a tool that allows to pilot the trades very easily and the platform is in constant improvement. Beyond that, Steven is simply a REAL teacher with excellent pedagogical skills. He provides the theory and the practical information that we need to succeed in options trading. Among all coaches, services I've experienced he is really the one that can change your trading results."

"Options Income Academy is the real thing. Steve Ganz's strategies, developed with a combination of innate creativity and AI-supplemented analysis, work. They take advantage of wide profit tents and very high theta to move your trades into profitable positions on all but the most difficult environments. And, even when things get unpredictable, the strategies hold the fort for longer than others and offer multiple adjustment alternatives when the market decides to throw a curve ball at you. I've traded OIA strategies through calm and stormy market waters and, thus far, my record stands at 96% profitable trades, and 374.9% annualized ROI. Recovered my investments in OIA in less than a month."

"Being rather new here I’d like to say I think what information Steve gives on the trade he takes for the alert is amazing! While there is certainly much more info that COULD be provided, this is just an alert service (at least for me, I reckon quite a few there are taking the full classes). As an alert service with a video for each and every time a trade is touched, I think that’s amazing. I, ofc, am trying to soak up every bit of knowledge I can."

"There is real value watching steve manage these trades."

"Excellent. Exceeds my expectations in every way. Steve is awesome and the education and alert service is too (Steve goes all out with videos for every alert!). Options Traders assistant (OTA) is also the way to go with this trade - you see every adjustment and the effect on the trade and you can place the trade directly with your broker."

"Wow! Have traded using multiple “follow” mentors (on both stocks and options), but have never seen so much dedication to community members as has been demonstrated by Steve. His consistent improvement of his trading strategy is remarkable. All that, and I haven’t even mentioned my returns. Let’s just say that if I shared the annualized returns on exposed capital (over the last 10 months), any “reasonable” trader would discount the credibility of this review in its entirety…"

"Steve has to be one of the best teachers of option income strategies. His strategies are well thought out, well tested and highly profitable. This is an academy for option traders with experience, but he will take you from mediocrity to expertise. Steve has integrity and I trust his guidance and insight. He means well and it's clear his true mission is to share his wisdom with any trader willing to learn. I highly recommend OIA!"

"I am taking Steve's course. Have some foundation in options, but the way he describes and teach the techniques are amazing !! Very clear, at excellent pace. This is going over my expectations !! Thank you very much."

"I recently completed this advanced options course and I can confidently say it has been one of the most impactful learning experiences of my trading career. What immediately stood out was the instructor's exceptional ability to break down complex concepts — Greeks, volatility structures, multi-leg strategies — into clear, digestible frameworks that actually stick. Nothing felt abstract or theoretical. Every concept was grounded in real market situations, which made the learning curve surprisingly manageable even for advanced topics. The results speak for themselves. Since completing the course I have been able to construct and manage sophisticated strategies with a level of confidence I simply did not have before. My understanding of risk management, margin dynamics, and position sizing has improved dramatically, and I have seen measurable improvements in my trading outcomes. What truly sets this course apart is how mechanical and systematic the instructor makes everything feel. There are clear rules for entry, adjustment, and exit — no guesswork, no emotional decision-making. You follow the process and the process works. This alone is worth the price of admission. The instructor's knowledge is deep and genuine. It is clear this is someone who trades what they teach, not just someone who teaches trading. The quality of explanation, the patience in addressing edge cases, and the ability to anticipate student questions all reflect years of real-world experience. Highly recommended for any serious options trader looking to take their game to the next level."

"Steve has at least two exceptional talents. First, he is a highly experienced options trader who knows exactly what he is doing and, more importantly, why he is doing it. Second, he is an outstanding teacher who can explain even complex concepts in a simple and easy-to-understand way. This combination makes him one of the most valuable trading coaches in the market. In his alert service, you can watch him work live—from setting up trades, to making adjustments, all the way through to closing positions. He consistently explains why he takes (or does not take) certain actions at any given moment. If you want to make money trading options, this is extremely valuable. You get to see how he operates in real time—winning most of the time, while also being transparent about losses (which have become less frequent recently). In his courses, he clearly explains the key levers of each strategy. What is particularly impressive is his depth of knowledge when it comes to understanding why modeling software like OptionStrat (or others) sometimes fails—and how to successfully manage and adjust trades regardless. Once you understand the core principles, everything suddenly becomes much simpler. Over the past month, I have executed 13 Flyagonal/FlyDagonal trades—generating $15,000 in one account and $17,000 in another, with 12 winners and just one losing trade in each. In my view, it doesn’t get much better than that. The money I invested in Steve’s training has already paid for itself several times over within just a few weeks. Thank you, Steve!"

"I had a very positive experience with Options Income Academy. After purchasing a course earlier, I was pleasantly surprised to receive free access to newly added strategy updates without any additional cost. This level of customer care and commitment to continuous learning really stands out. The content is clear, practical, and directly applicable, especially if you are serious about options trading strategies like the Flyagonal. It’s rare to see this kind of ongoing support and value being provided after purchase. Highly recommended for both learning and staying up to date with evolving strategies."

"If you are looking for a trading mentor who cuts through the noise of complex derivatives, Steven Ganz is the gold standard. Having completed his Butterfly, Calendars & Diagonals, and his most recent Flyagonals courses, I can confidently say his curriculum provides a masterclass in professional-grade options trading. The best thing about Steve is that he doesn’t overcomplicate things. He clearly spends a ton of time putting these courses together, but he explains them in a way that actually clicks. Instead of just showing you theoretical slides, he walks you through real-world examples of live trades he’s actually made. Seeing how a trade lived and breathed in the past makes it so much easier to understand than a textbook ever could. If you want to learn how to trade professionally, specifically those income-style trades like Butterflies and Flyagonals, then Steve is your guy."
