RUNWITHFIN COACHING

"The best decision I made ahead of starting to train for a marathon was to get in touch with Coach Fin! I’ve only done half marathons previously and training for a marathon at 46 brought many challenges especially going thorough peri-Menopause and dealing with extreme fatigue! But we did it! I trained for the Eryri Marathon with lots of elevation and on the day was so well prepared and felt awesome however they abandoned it at 32km due to the heat, I was prepared enough to get to the finish line which was devastating but we move forward and I completed the Bath Two Tunnels and became a marathoner. Fin is the best, he is tuned in to who you are and what works for you and motivates you to keep going and work hard. Thank you Fin, let’s go 💫"

"Been working with Fin since January and I have loved every minute. Fin has really helped change my mindset around running and to enjoy the journey. The personalised plans, the app and just Fin in general are worth the weight in gold. 🤩"

"Fin has been incredible since 2022, guiding me through 3 marathons and countless miles. His expertise, personalised plans, and unwavering support and patience has transformed my running journey, which is only just getting started. Thanks Fin I couldn’t have achieved my goals without you coaching and guidance —10/10 highly recommend!""

"I trained with Fin for my 100km race to the stones in July 2024. He’s the best no BS running coach I’ve ever met. I loved his holistic approach to running (I’m not a fan of shoving random stuff in my body that “enhance performance”) but even when I did want to, he educated me on how to do it safely. I couldn’t imagine getting help from anyone else for my future races. Finally, he’s extremely affordable for the level of service, and support you get. Thanks again for all the help Fin, you’re a legend."

"Great coach, really supportive and understanding of managing training and everything else that happens in life. 10/10 recommend."

"Amazing coach- given me some great tips/exercises to do. Also a legend of a human being!"

"Having been trying to keep up with my offspring whilst they got fit for the last 3 years or so,thought I was doomed to gradually being left further and further behind. Reached free bus pass age in September and said offspring signed me up with Fin as a present. Right from the off I enjoyed the program and felt the benefits of a structured approach that seemed to push just enough to keep it fun but still build stamina. The personal touch was there too, questions got answered and aims taken account of.A few months ago a 10k race was a big deal and I would do a couple a year and know about it afterwards. Now the thought doesn't phase me in the slightest and I happily run 10k training runs. Fin had me do 3 in a week, loved it, will admit to sweating a bit.... Offspring are not quite so far ahead now either.... so thanks Fin for helping these old bones to have the confidence to book five 10k races next year. Never thought that would happen! Been a great experience, thoroughly recommend, get signed up !"

"Great time training with Finn. He was helping prepare for a solo 80km. Training was well rounded and clear and easy to follow. I really enjoyed the structure and variety in programmes and especially loved the hill sprints and interval training. The 80km went really well and I enjoyed every step. Thanks a million finn it's been a blast and hopefully work with you again in the future."

"As someone who had never run a half marathon—let alone a full one—I started training with Fin to help me achieve my goal of running the London Marathon this year. From the start, it felt like I was working with not only a coach but a friend who was genuinely invested in my progress and successes. Fin’s support and enthusiasm matched my own, and his encouragement kept me motivated every step of the way. With his guidance, I ended up running both my half and full marathons much faster than I’d anticipated. I can’t recommend Fin highly enough!"

"Fin got me to the startline of a marathon I thought I'd be too injured to do, and not only that, I held a pace I didn't know I could! I also got a half marathon PB with him. I don't know what miracles he works, but he trained me through my injuries, and with only 1 long run to my name, I completed the London Marathon and exceeded my expectations. I also smashed a half marathon PB a month after the marathon, all thanks to Fin. 11/10 recommend Fin over any running training apps/plans you can find online. He's tailors the training to your lifestyle & goals, and will get you there!"

"I cannot say enough great things about Finn. Working with him has been transformative in every sense of the word. In short I started with a London Marathon place which was a dream, with a target of being able to finish. I couldn’t run 4km when we started working together & then I ran the London Marathon with perfect splits & loved every minute of it. Finn built my confidence with running & helped me find the love for it. It’s effortless working with Finn, he brings knowledge, wisdom, kindness & motivation and energy that keeps you striving for more. His personalised approach is what truly stands out, zero gimmicks and doesn’t rely on one size fits all, he adapts plans to support you and what’s going on in your life. He plans with your individual goal in mind, your strengths & lifestyle challenges. I have seen significant improvements in my endurance, speed and form. Finn always checks in to see how you are getting on in running and life & takes genuine interest. His encouragement has been instrumental in helping me stay consistent even when life is busy. If you are looking for a coach who is not only an expert in his field but a kind genuine, true motivator, listener and guide I couldn’t recommend Finn more. Thank you Finn, I have achieved a life goal with you as my cheerleader & guide but I’m running farther, faster & I’m happier and healthier!"

"I reached out to Fin a little bit in panic a couple months ahead of a half marathon. I realised that there was little flexibility on the running plan apps and that was a bit of a problem with my work… and life. He immediately put me at ease. His plans are custom to the client which is what I was looking for but he is also always available to discuss any questions, struggles (in running and life :D) and tips when life gets in the way of a planned run. The Half Marathon was an amazing experience and I know that a lot of it was because of Fin and his continuous support. I would recommend his coaching to anyone who wants to reach a running goal in a sustainable way. Thanks Fin!"

"Fin is an amazing coach, before I took running seriously I done a 3h 54m marathon. Then found Fin online and a year later run London marathon and done it in 3h 6m. Not only did he take off a ridiculous amount of time he was supporting me the whole way and always helped me push myself to what I thought was capable. Nearly 2 years on and we’re chasing a sub 3 hour marathon, not only has he made me a better runner he’s helped me understand patience. If your thinking of starting running or wanting someone to push you, there’s no one better than Fin it’s been an absolute please and long may the journey continue!!!."

"Fin’s training program has helped me reach so many of my running goals. His feedback is always so constructive and helpful. As a coach he is kind and understanding. He incorporates so many different types of runs that I didn’t even realize I should be doing. He always answers my questions and gives great advice no matter the issue. I highly suggest his program as I don’t think I would be where I am now without it!"

"If you're looking for a coach who offers the perfect mix of accountability, structure and encouragement, Fin is your guy! He knows just when to push you, but he's also incredibly approachable and down to earth. In the six months or so that we've worked together, I've smashed several PBs, and Fin has made me realise there's even more in the tank! I can't recommend him enough – you won't regret working with him."

"I really can’t recommend Fin enough! Super positive, very knowledgeable and more than just a running coach. He’s helped me prepare for multiple races, with PBs in the half marathon distance and top 3 finishes in trail ultras. Top bloke and worth every penny."

"When I was training for my second half marathon, I reached out to Fin because I felt like my training wasn’t delivering the results I wanted, and I wasn’t sure how to move forward. With only six weeks to go before race day, Fin created a training program that fit perfectly with my busy schedule and wasn’t overwhelming. Thanks to his guidance, I cut 25 minutes off my personal best time in the half marathon! Since then, I’ve completed another half marathon and a 32 km trail run, with Fin supporting me every step of the way. He really takes the time to listen to any concerns and knows exactly when to push and when to offer encouragement. I’m so glad I invested in his coaching, and I would recommend him to anyone looking to up their running game."

"Everything I hoped for. Personal advice, pep talks, encouragements, celebrations and more. Love that I can talk about all the things that scare me or make me insecure surrounding my race goals and get a personal answer. I missed that with algorithm running plan apps."

"Trained with fin for 1 year straight. Became a more accomplished runner. Fin helped me achieve my first ultra marathon also which was a long standing dream of mine."

"Finn has been an incredibly supportive coach over the past 6 months, from not being able to run 5km without stopping to a place where I'm ready to run the NYC marathon. A moment that means so much to me I don't think I could trust anyone else to get me to where I am now. Continuous, support, quality coaching with an insane amount of experience! Beyond that he's also someone who you can genuinely turn to when the training gets tough, which was really important to me when I was looking for the right coach to work with."
