Govt should close public sector banks like SBI which is a huge liability on country. The so called Sarkari banks have no sense, no functioning, no customer support, crippled IT systems with incorrect data. Customer gets only frustration at the end while these banks gets funding from govt for loosing taxpayers money in frauds.

This bank did not allow me to redeem the card. The smell in this place was so bad that it caused me to have an asthma attack. I'd ts experience a 41/67.

State Bank of India Dona Paula Branch Goa 03566 My late husband’s SBI account at Dona Paula Branch was transferred to my name 3 years ago. Despite repeatedly submitting updated KYC documents, the registered email still shows my late husband’s ID. Recently, I urgently needed a Demand Draft issued to pay my insurance company before the deadline. My debit card had expired, I had no cheque book, and I don’t have internet banking. I submitted all required self-attested documents and requested Branch Manager Monika Srivastava to debit my account and issue a D.D. Instead of helping, she gave excuses, insisted I must appear physically at the branch (I live overseas), and even hung up on me during a call. She kept misleading me by sending transfer forms despite being told my insurance company only accepts a D.D. Because of her negligence, lack of empathy, and refusal to act, I now risk losing my insurance cover and facing penalties. Other banks, like Canara Bank, have helped in similar situations with no issue. Managers like Ms.Monika Srivastava are a disgrace to SBI, and I urge SBI to take strict action and provide proper support to its customers in genuine need.

If there is negative rating, I would give it to SBI, why even single star? For even a simple transfer, they don’t respond. Software is pathetic. Why this banks are not nationalised?

The staff at SBI, Hounslow branch are very helpful and professional. I was struggling with my NRI account and and needed urgent help. There were no appointments available. However, the Assistant Bank Manager acknowledged the urgency of it, helped me and sorted the issue which otherwise could have taken another month! Thank you for your professional service.

It is very disappointing that SBI is charging old-age pensioners for issuing life existence certificates. These senior citizens have worked hard all their lives and depend on their small pensions for survival. Instead of supporting them, the bank is burdening them with unnecessary charges. At the same time, banks often write off huge loans of millionaires but take money from ordinary people. This is unfair and disheartening. Banks should treat pensioners with respect and provide this basic service free of cost.

It was my first visit to SBI on York st in Toronto. I was absolutely impressed with the complete and polite service. Instructions were complete and my concerns were taken care of in no time. Didnt have to wait even for one minute. I am really surprised and disappointed with the negative reviews.

After I deposited cash they took my phone and put good reviews and 5 ratings by themselves, do not trust this bank and the employees. They could've asked me to put a good rating and a nice reviews instead they did it by themselves. Worst experience.

As I m the customer of sbi since 2010 and from last year it had been given very bad service related to resolve of an issue related transaction and other important points of veiw. I m very sorry to say this that after providing necessary documents for unfreeze of my ac (31st of July 25) still they didn't respond me regarding this and not been unfreezed. It is an emergency to draw the money and I kept all my money in that ac only and I was not doing transactions in other bank like this. Now I don't have money to get my needs. It was very worst experience for me.

I am an account holder with online banking in SBI Rajajinagar 1st block branch for over 3 decades. Today, I wanted to transfer an amount urgently online to my consultant .Therefore I logged on to internet banking and since I needed to add a beneficiary to do it I tried to login using profile password. It did not work inspite of giving correct details and I was blocked from changing it after 3 attempts for none of my fault. Then, thinking of other ways to transfer the money I selected online quick transfer and tried to transfer the desired amt and after following their procedure correctly in the end I got a notification that due to suspicious activity your transfer has not been effected. Therefore I logged out and after sometime I tried logging in but I got a message that my account has been deactivated and I have to go to my home branch to activate the same. I contacted customer care nos only to get the same answer and e-mails with similar replies, but nothing in the direction of solving the issue online. The branch's telephone was not working and there was no branch managers telephone mentioned anywhere on the web. I am 73 years old with heart trouble and the home branch is situated 13 kms from where I stay. Senior citizens naturally opt for internet banking to avoid travelling and waiting. Moreover, online transfers are fast and convenient. I naturally got frustrated. In the name of ensuring safety and security these banks are harassing it's customers without knowing their pains. I feel that they cannot imagine the customers point of view and make rules to serve their purposes.I don't know where we are going to end up with such pathetic rules and customer care. They have courteously lettered readymade unrepliable emails to answer a person's query. I hope someone will take initiative to set right this kind of harrasment. An online alternate shall always be there to solve any problem faced by customers unless it has some criminal background. More apt, in a situation where banks softwares don't work properly always. I suggest all public,who is holding a account with SBI. Pls visit Home Branch only, or else you will suffer a lot. Yesterday I have visited local Kavali main Branch for address change and atm card and net banking. I got services for address change and atm card,but I couldn't get service for net banking. Because non home branch. I got these also after spending 2 + hours time in the bank. Front desk staff serving the customer by eating GUVUA Fruit. This is how bank are functioning. Chief manager is working like front officer. All transactions,he is authorising and people are waiting in front of Manager Cabin. It's look like Govt Office.

SBI KODUVALLY BR., (IFSC: SBIN0001442) KOZHIKODE , KERALA Each time I want to use the SBI deposit machine, they do not work. There are two Automatic Deposit Machine in front of the SBI Bank at Koduvally, in an A/c room. They never function. It is an utter waste of money for the bank and for the bank's share holders, to keep these idiot boxes. And for the customers, the doors are shut at 4:00 PM everyday, closing all the business with the public. Is this the way for the bank to operate?

Extremely inconvenient service, especially for senior citizens. Every step with this bank is unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming. Resolving even a simple issue takes hours and wastes an entire day. The staff seems unbothered, and the process lacks efficiency. On top of that, the website is slow and glitchy, making things even worse. This system seriously needs improvement—very frustrating experience overall.
