A lot went wrong!...I purchased the sofa on 12th Aug with delivery to be made on 15th Aug. When it was delivered by the delivery company (designated by Seats & Sofas), turned out the legs for one of the sofas was missing from the package and the legs on the other one were somewhat damaged (with some cracks) but functional. My ordeal had just begun, after many phone calls & much pleading finally those missing legs were provided for pick-up on 5th Sep. Replacement (or backup) for the damaged legs on the 2nd sofa are still awaited (no formal response to the Service Request). Extremely disappointed, they have good stock to show, but this is the reality of delivery, so avoid if you can!

I have a complaint. I brought the sofa from seats and sofa mijdrecth shop. I paid for the new sofa in full and you delivered me the exact showroom model that I saw . The delivery guy also mentioned me that it’s a showroom model. Also the young salesman in the shop told that you don’t have the new in white but the elder salesman mentioned to us that will get a new one. Attached are the pictures of the same. As I cannot comment on the seats and sofa response, I am writing here: I went to seats and sofas mijdrecht yesterday evening and the point of contact in the shop and salesman accepted that the employee did fraud and send me the old and dirty showroom model to my house. They also accepted in front of my Dutch friend ( I took him for fill the language gap) that a solution will be provided asap. Also the existing showroom model was out of there and placed in my house. They took all my details but no response. I also raised complaint and sent the email to midrecht and customer service

1. Wonderful service. (the staff is very friendly and helps to choose a sofa for any budget) 2. The sofa was delivered to us on the same day. ( if the sofa is in stock, you can pick it up right away ) It’s almost impossible in Netherlands 3. We paid by 3 parts ( it’s really helped us ) 4. It’s the best experience with buying furniture. Really kind and nice guy, who consulted us, I think it was manager. Thank you so much, guys! I would advise everyone to buy here sofa!!!

I order Sofa from here and after long waiting time we received our Sofa. As soon as i unpack the Sofa i found that it's a defective piece and team is not doing any quality check before getting this deliver. Front panel was broken, nails was placed with oversized due to storage box can't be used as it can damage the things placed in the storage box. Plywood was broken at multiple places etc. I took photo for each details and shared with the team at the same day of delivery and they promised that new panel will be delivered and team who will come to fix they will review the other defects as well. Now it's more than 4 months and i am still waiting for that service team to bring that new panel to fixed but no response, sending email, trying to call on daily basis but no positive response yet. So my overall experience with this purchase is very frustrating and will not recommend any one to but Sofa from here in case you are looking for any good buying experience.

Worst ever. Awful customer service. They have my money for 7 month and I have no sofas. Noone wants to take responsibility, I have never ever had such bad experience in my life. Every time you call they promis a date which never takes place. Please don't go there. There are much better places to purchase your furniture.

The first lady that welcomed and "explained" to us how the store works was very condescending but the other salesman and the manager was very helpful and friendly. We ended up walking out with a new couch which we are waiting to receive.

I got my sofa delivered on 19/07/2025 with a surprise of broken bed part and a torn armrest. When informed seats and sofas about the damage, I was told I had to wait till service day which is on 18 Aug and I kept waiting. And today is 1st Sep and still I don't have a single update about the date when the broken parts are going to be delivered. And I have sent a lot of mails and I got no response of any of them. Its a biggest mistake I made purchase at Seats & Sofas and this will be my first and last time buying anything from there. The way they are handling the after sale issues and waiting timelines is very frustrating. I see you are a posting a generic reply to every review to reach out via the email addrress of the branch. So to verify if you are really reading the review... I already sent 3 mails since the sofa got delivered with all the details you are pretending to collect and I shared my order number in this same form, with which you can fetch all my details including the phone number. So if you reallying looking into customer satisfaction, reach out to me directly via email/phone instead of posting generic reply to this review.

I've had a very disappointing experience with Seats and Sofas Capelle. I purchased a sofa (€1,849), but they delivered it in the wrong color. Instead of resolving the mistake quickly, the sofa has been left in the entrance hall of my building, causing inconvenience to other residents, because the company keeps delaying the pickup. They first promised collection within 7 days, then pushed it back another 10, and eventually informed me that the correct sofa was not in stock — meaning I would need to wait 6–12 weeks. When I requested to cancel the purchase and get a refund (including the delivery fee), they refused to reimburse the €150 delivery fee, even though the delivery company (LMD Logistiek) was recommended and arranged by them. It has now been 19 days (and counting!), the sofa is still uncollected, and I have yet to receive my full refund. The service has been unprofessional, with poor communication and zero accountability. I strongly advise against buying from this company.

After my first review showing their way to still people, they send to me email , asking me to send my contact details. I did and I received a phone call asking me this time to pay 400 euro for Repairing my sofas ( even is their responsibilities to fix it) because was in the garantie time. After I refuse the woman she called me start talking with arrogance and telling me that I must pay so otherwise I must fix myself. So guys , take care , far away from this thieves. I hope the money they stole me , they are going to use for medicine to cure their worst sickness. Starting from the seller , the one who call to fix the issues and the owner. Thieves.........

We were very clear on the fact that we wanted our delivery date to be as soon as possible, as we had plans to move into our new home ASAP. The manager originally promises 6 - 8 weeks, so we were naturally very excited and we got the couch. However, we are now moved into our new home, and the couch has still not arrived. Apparently, 6 - 12 weeks is our new wait time. Very unfortunate, and we still do not know if the sofa will come in good condition or not.

Urgent Complaint – Refund Request for Returned Sofa (€1,300) Dear Seat and Sofa Team, On 23.07.2025, I purchased a sofa from your Zoeterwoude branch. On that date, the sales staff put strong pressure on me to make the purchase and assured me that I could return it within 14 days for a full refund. Relying on this statement, I decided to buy the sofa. On 31.07.2025, I went back to the store to return the sofa in full. At first, a female staff member told me that I did not have the right to return it. However, I am aware of my consumer rights under Dutch law. Therefore, I asked to speak to the male staff member who had sold me the sofa. When he arrived, I reminded him that he had told me I had the right to return it. He confirmed this, admitted that he was aware of the situation, and assured me that he would process the return. He also informed me that my money would be refunded within approximately 5 days. It has now been 20 days, and I still have not received my refund. This situation has left me in serious financial difficulty and caused me great distress. On 14.08.2025, I received an email with the subject line: "Verzoek aanvraag (deel-)annulering koopovereenkomst 99082905." This seems to indicate a partial cancellation, which is incorrect, as I returned the sofa in full. I demand the full refund of €1,300 immediately. It is unacceptable that such a well-known company across the Netherlands provides such poor customer service. I am extremely dissatisfied and hereby urgently request that you transfer my full refund without any further delay. Yours sincerely, A Işık
