"3m x 1.8m Artificial Conifer Hedge Firstly we would like to state this is no criticism of the Supplier, the item received or the delivery time but a warning to anyone purchasing the above and needs to return it. After we received the item we realised it wasn't suitable so decided to return it. Reading the returns policy, which we understand is non negotiable, we attempted to get it back into the original box. 4 of us tried to roll the hedge back up small enough to put back in the box but after numerous attempts, and I mean numerous, it soon became apparent it wasn't going anywhere. We looked online for advice and tried several ways of rolling this up, none worked, and we stopped for fear of damaging the item. We tried to ring customer service number for advice, after trying at least 6 times we gave up, they were busy and could we try later, we did but no luck. We then emailed and was really pleased to get a response within the hour. However all the email said was the item needed to be in the original packaging and secure and referred us to the returns policy. This link actually took us to page 404. We replied stating what we had done and how we had packaged it to try and return it, to date there has been no response . We can only assume that we have been informed of the returns policy and there is nothing more to say. The return rules are perfectly acceptable, we understand that. However we have to assume that this hedging is machine rolled and packaged at the manufacturer to fit in the box which measures 6" x 5" because there is no way it can be done manually. So please think before buying. We are pensioners in our 70's and can ill afford to lose just under £50 for something we can't return or use but have to abide by the returns policy. However once bitten, twice shy, we won't be ordering anything again and lessons have been learned. You need to be young and strong to return this but even then it may be a struggle. We reiterate this is no criticism of those mentioned in the first paragraph but a warning about the implications of the item not being suitable and needing to be returned."

"I recently purchased a 4 meter roll of PVC slat screening from The Range online. The roll arrived and it looked exactly what I wanted/needed to screen off our neighbours view of our household bins. I measured the piece I needed and cut a length off the roll which duly started to disintegrate into separate 20mm sections. The screen is made up of individual 20mm slats held together by a series of cords which should be fully adhered to the plastic slats. Unfortunately the top and bottom cords are in places but the rest are not, so once cut the cord becomes loose and the screen falls to bits. Having spent over £60 on a roll of screen this is not fit for purpose and very disappointing. I await The Ranges reply who are dealing with my complaint."
