"Having seen an advert on the TV I ordered over the phone. it was easy to do and helpful staff. I purchased a Ryobi 33cm cordless lawnmower. I have to say the best I've had as it's very light weight and cuts really well. Only slight downside is the collection box is small so needs emptying more often. However, a small price to pay for a very neat machine and good value."

"I bought the Ryobi one+ garden hoe. It’s amazing, it took me a couple of minutes to get used to working with it but once I did it did the job better and in much less time that it would’ve taken me! My only gripe is the pole isn’t adjustable, I’m 5ft 3 and would have appreciated being able to adjust the length to suit my height."

"Generally good quality tools, I have bought a few recently. My last experience left a lot to be desired with customer service however. having ordered it took 5 days to receive the tracking number from the courier. The tracking worked well for 4 days, until the message "Your parcel has been delayed due to an unexpected issue in your area" appeared on the day the parcel was due to be delivered. In my experience with DPD this usually means they have lost the parcel. I then contacted customer service via the website. It took two days to get a reply by email, apologising and asking if I wanted a refund or replacement. I immediately replied replacement. The following day an email confirmed "a replacement has been processed and should be delivered to the same address". It took a further two days for the tracking number to be issued and assumedly the replacement was collected the following day, and delivered 3 days later. Looking at reviews recently, it seems Ryobi have been having some issues with deliveries, with sveral people commenting on delays and missing items. My experience with customer service and my delay was better than some, but still not what I would expect of a company like Ryobi. I particular it felt like the customer service person on the end of the email was just going through the motions, with no regard for the customer on the end. Understandable if they are having to deal with lots of similar issues in one day..."

"I have now sent 3 emails plus completed the online form asking for support over a 2 month period. Having bought many tools from this company, we have had a problem with a pole saw. However, other than an automated response each time I send an email, nobody has got back to me once. I am extremely disappointed having spent so much money building up a collection of over 10 Ryobi tools and 5 batteries, that when there is a problem, the company clearly do not want to know!"
