I was absolutely bowled over by the help I got from Leon from Customer Services at Vanguard. I was getting pretty stressed trying to find a way on their website if getting an Annual Statement so I could get An Agreement in Principal from Cumberland. Leon responded within hours on secure messages with a PDF of the statement. What relief! I thought I might have to wait ages. Such a boost! Vanguard Asset Mgmt. Ltd is a company that manages to provide both an exceptional financial service and a superb customer service. Their online platform and app are surprisingly user-friendly and make investing seem far less daunting. They also maintain a down-to-earth feel over the phone where Amina took great care of me, resolving my queries quickly and easily. A guy called "Zed" in customer services today reassured me that Vanguard are still a great company to deal with, in that not only are the investment products decent, with good online access, but they also have really competent UK-based people (like Zed) who pick up the phone if you have a question as I did. Friendly, efficient and helpful; thanks! And although you didn't know what "Five Shillings and Fourpence" was in "real money" (UK, pre-decimal £sd currency from the 20th Century), I forgive you as you were born about 12 years after we went Decimal in 1971, lol!
I have just received a prearranged call with Michel from Vanguard .Not only has he organised what the call was originally for, he has given me valuable information for moving forward. Very happy with the service I have received both from this call and the previous one.
I spoke with Edward via Chat today. He was very helpful and was able to identify what the problem was regarding the transfer of my stocks & shares account to T212. I have been trying to transfer over my account since Feb 25, so I am hopeful that the issue has now been resolved.

Excellent service and great advice on my new retirement account. Vanguard rep Michael explained very clearly the structure and processes of the account. He answered all my questions and clarified some key points on the account. Feeling confident now.
Dealt with a very patient Michael who was dealing with a partial SIPP drawdown. Due to my phone not working we did have some contact issues, but Michael was more than patient and explained everything to me. Fortunately I had a good grasp of the process and ramifications and can confirm he did not miss one thing out. So, you might pay a sniff extra in a % on your fee's ( and I do mean small ) but it is more than made up for in the service / support and it is clear Vanguard spend time on training.
I had a problem with adding to my investments, which in the end was a VPN problem. This was solved by Teigan, very helpful and friendly. Chris
I called Vanguard this morning and spoke to Micheal in Pensions team and found him to be extremely helpful, Knowledgable and caring. Also, I find Vanguard one of the best companies I have ever dealt with.
