"A sickening feeling of dread hit me. I met someone on Instagram who promised to teach me DeFi node operation. The scammer even sent me 5.15 ADA with which I registered and deposited into this website, showed me how to trade, and I made some profit and even withdrew 14.29 ADA. The scammer then advised that I invest more so I can get greater rewards. So I took out a business loan for $716,267 and deposited it, followed all the instructions and was able to take my balance to $2,730,105. I was so excited, so I decided to withdraw $2,188,870, but was told the amount is too large, I would need to pay a 15% network validation fee ($328,330). I quickly took another loan and paid it since I was sure withdrawal was possible because I had withdrawn in the past. Then they demanded another 19% risk control deposit, which was when it dawned on me that it was a con. I explained to my credit provider, and he referred me to a cyber tracing company (fiscop advisor), who started tracing the movements of the ADA until it was sold on Coinbase. The scammers' bank info was obtained, and he was caught, and the ADA reversed."
"Don't invest here. Once they get your money they diversify it, making account details a nightmare to find. Plus when my term life insurance expired they auto renewed me at ten times the premium cost without even notifying me. They just drained my auto draft. I only realized how shady this practice was after checking # gcasco...# clear renewal rules. Avoid these hidden policy."
"Horrible incompetent customer service. They send you a letter stating they sent you documentation which is not in the mailing. They are difficult to reach. you get misinformation, failure to update personal information; 9 months later the info and spelling of my name is still incorrect, direct deposit still hasn't gone through. It takes forever to get a document and then they send the wrong paper or not at all. I would not recommend this company and am trying to find a way to move my funds to a different company. Avoid this company like the plague. A year's worth of aggravation."
"I have contacted Voya six times to answer 2 simple questions regarding their own forms and process. The 2 reps I've gotten on the phone did not know the answers, had no one to forward the questions to, and could not find the form I was asking about. Dead ends. I contacted by email 4 times, and each time the response is to call. Circular and profoundly unhelpful. Worst 'customer service' (functionally nonexistent) I've yet to experience in a financial institution."
"Terrible company, I wouldn’t recommend their services. They aim to take advantage of customers, never processing withdrawals. B̠ l̠ o̠ c̠k̠ p̠ u̠l̠ s̠ e̠ g̠l̠ o̠ b̠a̠ l̠ stepped in and I was able to get my funds back."

"Request for expedited loan on 5.20.26 and removed immediately from fund account. On this day 5/29/26 no funds received, package lost and was told the process must start again. Supervisor not returning calls, calls are dropped (hungup), and No One Gives a Damn!!"

"Worst company I’ve ever dealt with. Customer service is terrible and they make it impossible to do anything. Never again."

"Requiring customers to call to restrict information sharing rather than providing an opt-out online is just a tactic to stop people from doing it. This is especially frustrating when the only reason I am a "customer" of Voya is that my 403(b) plan switched servicers."

"I am not exaggerating when I say that Voya Financial has been the worst service I've ever enrolled in. I am appalled by how tedious and longwinded doing anything is with them. Not to mention the constant and horrid communications from them in which they send via the mail, where I am forced to shred the documents because I never wanted them in the first place. And when I finally receive my pin in the mail, I login, and the option to select paperless is fully not working. I'm sick to my stomach even writing this. 0/10. Worst service ever hands down."
"They do not have a good customer relation team, Finance reimbursement helps with any money related issues"

"This company is a ripoff they won’t release my money and close the account out money management is a joke they should have stuck to selling car insurance hopefully they go out of business been trying to close my account since 5-1-26"
"I am absolutely furious my employer went with this company. I took a mental health leave of absence and submitted paperwork on time. They took days and days to review, only approved me for 4 weeks and wanted me to see the doctor every two weeks after that to review my symptoms. My pay has been late once, and on the second review they asked for more paperwork the day before the pay period needed to be submitted even though I submitted everything I had before that and told them multiple times this is a time sensitive situation. So glad I took a mental health leave just to get more mental health issues from the company that’s supposed to be helping me. Smh"

"I should have realized it would be a bad experience. Their answering hold message was we're here to help, please be kind. Instructions from someone who had upset so many people that they were trying to control the damage up front. We literally spent almost an hour on the phone to transfer our account. We paid $50 to have the check expedited to our new investment company, and they made it payable to Credential, instead of Prudential..obviously no experience on the side of the processor, as who hasn't heard of Prudential. Another 20 minutes later we did get a helpful rep, and we spelled it out. They did pay to have everything expedited again, so they made it good, but the whole experience cost us 20 days of investment income"

"Definitely not a military friendly financial company. Do not invest with them! As soon as they get your money, they diversify it with other companies and it is a nightmare trying to find account information. Also if your term life Insurance expires, they will automatically renew you at approximately ten times the cost of the premium without the courtesy of even notifying you, they will just continue to use the auto draft that you gave them!"

"Voya, beware, STAY AWAY, do not do business with this company. Good luck trying to get your money back."
"I received mail stating that my "Household " had made a purchase? I don't have any knowledge of any account with Voya. However the mailing was not to any specific person in my Household, so it seems like a scam because when you call them they request personal information to verify your account. So why is the mailing sent to the "Household " of an address? Instead of a person? As I refused to give any personal information except for the address, they said they had to end the call... Can you say SCAM ? This is absolutely not the way a legitimate business operates."

"Do NOT buy into their accident insurance, and the only reason I got them was due to my employer. My accident insurance policy has been on hold for over two weeks. I sent in the hospital summary and notes, my orthopedic surgeon’s notes with X-rays, as well as my primary care physician’s notes and referral. Voya’s portal shows a completion date of May 8th, but now it’s May 12th and my claim is still processing. The documents I submitted were more than what they requested, and there’s no resolution provided for me. I’m broken up and cannot get paid on a policy I’ve paid for. My next step is a complaint on BBB. This is horrible, and Aflac here I come. My hospital indemnity plan paid out in 2016 after 7 or 8 days. Voya Financial needs to do better. Oh, Jenny the escalation manager promised to call me back a day ago. Crickets!!!"

"I am a teacher and have a 403b through them. Trying to take a loan against my 403b is a nightmare. Some of that is not their fault as we have to use a 3rd party administrator. However, their website must be created and arranged by people who hate people. It is a nightmare to navigate and it is some kind of scavenger hunt to find the forms you need. They do not communicate with their customers, either. My initial loan application was approved by 3rd party admin, but was denied by Voya because the 3rd party admin form required my home address and not my mailing. I only found this out after waiting for a week and hearing nothing from Voya. I called and when I finally got a representative, they told me I would have to start the process over as my loan was in process of being denied due to my address on Voya being different from the 3rd party admin form. It's been a week since that call and I still have not received any information from Voya through mail, email, text, or on their site, including their communication tab. I would not recommend this company."
"Horrible, horrible experience! Tried to withdraw some funds and was pushed around for weeks. Tried to get my funds expedited and then they stated it would have to be cancelled and re-processed, taking another few weeks to even process that. Freaking joke!"
