An App should make a customer's life easier and a customer journey pleasant. It should be understandable and intuitive but this App is the total opposite. I'd rather don't have an App than such a bad one, causing frustration only. The App switches from system to system, therefore is very slow or crashes. The user journey is not logical at all. We are traveling in 1.5 weeks and it took me 10 minutes to find information on the flight and departures. I let my husband check it and he actually gave up on it, because he was unable to find the (simple) information we were looking for. Also other information is very hard to find. All in all horrible App. Aida is not cheap, please dear Aida invest your money in proper digital solutions, thanks!
My very first experience with Aida Perla is a memorable one, would only recommend.
General activities were well organised and information sessions were well done indeed
Excellent experience on our Family AIDA cruse, looking forwarding to taking a cruise also outside the Mediterranean sea. Hopefully the ports and future offerings from AIDA can make this happen. Excellent ship, design and personell.
If you don’t speak German DO NOT book. Extremely German cruise. From menus to staff, excursions, everything is in German. And not a single warning if you want to book it.
Never going with Aida cruises again. To give an example: was clearly first in line but a German behind me shouted to be served first and to my astonishment the German staff is also helping him first. It is a German first policy, everything is in German language, inlcuding all entertainment. It feels also quite wrong to see a full Filipino/ Indian crew doing all hard labor while almost all senior crew and guests are white. As if we were on a German boat many decades ago.
All just great.
Everything was really ok. Already booked another aida trip.
We felt free and relaxed enjoying a great holiday
Our experience on the AIDA Cosma was a complete disaster. From the moment we tried to book a simple ticket, we were sent from one counter to another — 10 times in total — without any clear instructions. The staff seemed completely overwhelmed and instead of offering help, we only got snippy and dismissive comments. The situation in the restaurants was just as bad. They were completely overcrowded, and if you’re lucky enough to find a seat at all, it’s usually still dirty from the guests before you. There was no system, no order, and definitely no sense of service.
Not really for English people as all communication is in German. Otherwise a great company with lovely staff, a nice ship with fantastic performances from AIDA Stars.
Best Crew, very friendly, respectful and always ready and happy to help. Nothing makes the vacation better than smiling faces.
Great cruise and great sightseeing.
Never More … this was the worst experience in a cruise We do every year a cruise and this time we choose an Aida (first time) It was so full that everywhere there were fights. Service people did not care about anything, everywhere was full and always long queues …. It was terrible. The kids club had no space so always full, the restaurants full, the swimming pools full, etc We all were happy when we left the ship
Quality prices not adequate, onboard restaurant is not good. Aida app needs to be redesigned not user friendly
We always have a very comfortable and enjoyable holiday with them.
We were enjoying our cruise on the Aida Blu until my wife was stung by a huge bee, on the deck. She went to First aid to get the bee's hook removed. She was in there for less than 5 minutes. The same evening we received the bill, 183€ . That's a complete rip off. Nobody warns you not to touch the door of First Aid. It totally ruined our holiday. It was not possible to file a complaint at the reception." It is what it is Sir." that was the answer we got. We asked for information at the First aid desk.Sorry, it's Private healthcare, sir., different costs. People should be warned for this!
The AIDA cruise was a memorable and amazing trip that my daughter and I took together
The wait at Kiel was too long, 6200 people on a ship was for me too many so everywhere were lines to wait even at restaurants. The room was great and the service as well. Everything was in German so had a bit of problem with that as well. People were very nice and helpfull, but don't forget your app otherwise...
We were quite disappointed about this cruise. It was our first cruise, we booked through an agency to make sure we were well prepared and informed. Booked the premium all inclusive package to make sure we would have a relaxing holiday. Unfortunately it was far from that. The ship was way too crowded for the facilities on board. Big and long cues everywhere the whole day! From elevators to restaurants, seating place or bars. Drinks (not all and not everywhere!) were indeed included but activities or for example an ice cream are all with a big upcharge and prices on board are extremely high. There is also no decent internet available unless you pay a lot for each person. This makes that you cannot phone or text each other on board. So finding each other or communicating on this big ship is a disaster especially with kids who can go around by themselves! Entertainment is also very limited which means that most of the evening you need to entertain yourselves or spend money.
