Awful app. Treat their taskers like crap. Constantly Charging taskers cancellation fees when it's clearly not their fault for the task being cancelled. Then you have to wait almost a whole week to get an email response about fixing the incorrect billing of cancellation fee to the tasker. Can't call them. Terrible customer service, they say they'll respond in 1-2 business days but take 5 instead. Very high fees as well. They only have an app to maintain, would cost very little to maintain, especially without a call centre to take calls. Airtasker CEO must be a billionaire by now. If you try to exchange contact details before task is assigned they will ban you. Even if you don't write anything wrong, they still threaten to ban you and censor your comments, this app is a joke

The Airtasker person keeps changing appointments with me and got to the point where I do not know if he is going to do the job. It became overdue. And I emailed the support team with no response at all. Eventually the Airtasker person came good and did the job, I still did not hear from support till after job completed. When you appoint an Airtasker, and they keep telling you they cannot make it even though the timeline was in writing, this is the frustrating part. If I cancel I am liable to pay a fee.

It’s easy to get quotes quickly once task is uploaded.there are varieties of work that can be performed through airtasker -small task to big task.most of the time taskers seem efficient.

I've used Airtasker 7 times over 9 years for big jobs related to moving house and all have been completed exactly as I hoped. Now I am older and weaker I foresee more frequent need for help. The site allows me to describe in detail what I want from the start and makes negotiation easy. The reciprocal reviews of each other ensure trust in right behaviour on both sides to complete the job. Having established a good working relationship with my last Airtasker I will call on him again in the near future.

Absolute nightmare to contact customer service! You can respond to a bad review within a few hours but when a customer can't earn money with no explanation why it takes 3 days and still waiting..... still no contact i have been trying for 5 days now
