"I purchased a Google Pixel 8 in April, and in May, the screen started malfunctioning. An internet search revealed that this is quite a common problem for this phone (just google "Google Pixel 8 green static screen" if you're interested), and as none of the reasons for warranty exclusion stated on Back Market's website (Lost, dropped, or broken / Damaged by liquids (oxidation) / Opened for repair or diagnosis by you or a third party not authorized by the seller) apply, I was confident that it would be covered by the one-year warranty promise. Today I was informed that it was "classified as a warranty exclusion" - no further explanation given. When I asked why exactly they had classified it that way, they told me that the technical team had "classified the issue as screen damage". Again, no details - the screen doesn't even have scratches, so I don't know how they came to that conclusion. I won't deny that the screen has to be damaged in some way to be acting like this, but I will deny that that's my fault. And what's the point of a warranty if any damage leads to a warranty exclusion, and not just damage caused by the user? Luckily, Google had an extended repair program for this issue (they would hardly have one if it wasn't a manufacturing defect) and I'll get my screen replaced without a fuss. Conclusion: if Back Market can just decide that the warranty does not apply without even giving a proper explanation, the warranty is worthless and people should spend their money elsewhere."

"I got an excellent condition M1 MacBook Pro on the end of May 2026. It was almost new, a think only 1 or 2 minor scratches (I can't even say they are scratches as they are almost invisible, you have to look for them carefully and deepl). Battery was at 47 cycles and 97% health. That's a great experience if you ask me. That's more than what I expected. Only minor detail is the charging cable was a bit worn. Charger and cable are original, great quality but in fair condition. But I don't care about them, I care more about the real machine, and the machine is almost new, in premium condition. I would absolutely recommend it and I would use it again for family or friends."
