"I purchased a Shark vacuum cleaner listed as “Very Good” condition. The device arrived with an incompatible suction tube, making it neither usable nor chargeable. In addition, it had a broken plastic clip and visible scratches, which does not match the advertised condition. As a refurbishing retailer, this should have been caught during inspection. A device that cannot even be charged without the correct accessory should never have been shipped in this state. The missing suction tube remains unresolved to this day. I have repeatedly pointed out my right to subsequent performance under § 439 of the German Civil Code (BGB). Two members of staff confirmed in writing that they would obtain a binding response from the seller. Instead, I ultimately received another generic reply, as if the responsible agent had not read any of the previous correspondence. The only solution offered is a return, which puts me at a financial disadvantage, as the same device is now listed significantly more expensive on Back Market itself. Update: After I rejected the factually incorrect claim that the suction tube was not part of the delivery scope, and explicitly requested escalation to a supervisor, I received the same response again. No acknowledgment of the escalation request, no engagement with the contradiction"

"It is claimed that you can cancel the order if no progress have been made. It is not true. 10 mins after I made the order, i tried to cancel and there was no option to cancel. I contacted customer service and due to the delay in answering and taking action. The order was prepared 2 days later and set 3 days later. I have to go through the whole return process. There is no feedback even until now from customer service. There is no respect for customers. Avoid buying from them."

"Worst return experience of my life. Back Market provided an invalid return label for a battery-containing product, causing the package to get stuck with delivery company for weeks. After making multiple calls to the delivery company myself to locate and recover the package, it was finally returned to me. The moment I got it back and was ready to complete the return, Back Market suspended my account, stopped all cooperation, and refused to provide a valid return label. I am left with a product I cannot return and no refund."

My problem is that I had bought AirPods 4 and not until after the 30 day return option did I experience that the battery life of the headphones was around 3 hours. I consider this too short because there isn’t a large price difference between buying the headphones new versus buying them refurbished. New headphones battery life should be around 5 hours. The battery life for buying them refurbished isn’t mentioned. Had I known this, I would’ve bought new ones. It would be helpful for the consumer to have a rough estimate of battery life like when buying phones for example."
