"Don't touch them as their service is appalling - They are useless when dealing with simple matters. Bureaucracy at its best !!!"

"Sold the property from SIPP controlled by Curtis Bank in February. They allowed payments for mortgage and insurance to continue despite the property being sold. Still waiting for money to be returned with no timeline in sight. AVOID these people if you want your investments to be safe."
"Your customer service agent was a ⭐"
"Client is £ 17,000 in arrears stopped paying almost a year ago. Action front CB, a few letters. Not acceptable! Also we have to pay to chase the debt. The last 15 years working with first of all Suffolk Life and now Curtis Banks have in all honesty been awful."
"Excellent first rate service by Vennie Popova at Curtis Banks."
"I called today and spoke with a very friendly and incredibly helpful member of your team Vennie Popova. She was able to answer all my questions clarifying both my position, the process and likely timescales involved. A real credit to your business and our interaction left me feeling confident and informed. Thank you Vennie!"

"FCA complaint statistics show Curtis Banks among the providers with the highest complaint rates per 1,000 pension policies in force. My experience is that this is well justified. Their administrative procedures seem everywhere to be a shambles. A complaint has been lodged against Curtis Bank both by myself and Chase de Vere and a report is in process to be delivered to the Ombudsman"
"Curtis Bank sent me a User name, then password in a letter. In an email they sent me a link to there portal that can be saved to mobile devices. Suffering with brain trauma,ADHD & anxiety I then get support worker to assist me.We still can't login into the portal.Call, Curtis Banks as the number says on webpage, even email Curtis Bank regarding Login as per portal as stated on webpage. No response , I get a Financial advisor who calls explaining the issue as per document(s) & action sent & received.Only to find the link was Curtis Bank link, and I needed secure .curtisblanks.co.uk. Yet this financial group, sent me the wrong link, hence I couldn't get into their portal. Even funnier they sent the password & user name that didn't work on there website .I even failed there security question, which was my mum's maiden name....? Odd it's never changed with any other organisation except Curtis Bank! The company is not set up, to assist with people with disabilities or even there support workers.Maybe out of the 32 billion money, they manage perhaps spend some money on training or working with customers who have disabilities....! Typical financial orientated company, with poor customer service and even worse help or assistance for disabled customers... Not an enjoyable experience especially when the security / memorable word is you mothers maiden name & your dealing with a bereavement. To fail the security question isn't laughable."
"Inability to understand the difference between a query about Transferring OUT a proportion of pension fund to a an existing draw down pension And Transferring IN"
"I received a response within an hour of my request with clear advice on how to set up the the access to my SIPP that I required. Brad Simmonds was superb and each step was carefully explained."
"Suffolk Life administered my SIPP for years and were pretty. They became part of Curtis Banks and have turned into the most unhelpful, faceless bureaucracy. I made the mistake of sacking Coutts and moving to RBS. I requested an income drawdown and gave them details of the new bank account. As usual, it took them ages to react, and their only action was to tell me that I had to provide a certified bank statement for the new account, which is pretty tricky for a new account, when everything is online. I requested one from my bank, and drove 90 miles to pick it up. I sent them the original a a photograph of the certified statement by mail. Not good enough! They insisted on a secure email from my gmail account, which took me a day to work out how to do. Not good enough! Now they have told me that I have to give them bank details yet again, this time through their customer portal, but they have not told me how to do that. Do not let your money anywhere near these clowns. There must be efficient pensions administrators out there, not faceless bureaucrats."

"i dealt with Vennie Popova whose patience and attention to detail was greatly appreciated. her explanations and adsvice were well received. many thanks."
"Finally after 4 months my request has been sorted out for the tax free cash. Communication is minimum here, especially as these matters are complicated and something most folk wouldn’t encounter. My valuation was very comprehensive with a matching price tag. My dealings today though were very good, I spoke to Vennie Pipova who was informed, very polite and helpful."
"You get through within a minute and talk to someone who actually knows what they're talking about and have access to your plan. Simple, efficient and effective."
"I chased Crystallisation Even Payment Conformation letter which happened in November 2025. I was promised on the call to Curtis Banks in January 2026 that it will be sent over soon. It was not actioned. I chased Curtis Banks today, spoke to Vennie P. - she was brilliant. Very knowledgeable. She emailed the copy of the letter whilst I was on the phone discussing two 2 cases. Vennie was very helpful and knowledgeable."
"I spoke with Steven Lawson who was very helpful. I am an adviser and my client was in a difficult position. Steven was able to assist and put everything in place to ease the fears of the client. The client needed an income payment quickly and Steven was able to do this without any delays. Definitely 5 stars!"
"Excellent customer service from Samuel Elvin. I received quick and helpful responses to my queries and I could not be happier with the call. Samuel went above and beyond to help me! Really amazing call experience."
"Vennie was very calm and helpful and got me to where I needed to be - it was good to be helped by a caring human being ."
"I concur with all the other 1 star ratings. 8 months on moving a UK pension to AESF, so appalling slow. I can not believe their lack of urgency to progress such an important piece of my financial security. Raising here in the desperate hope that it means some immediate action is taken. Whilst I do not like writing negative reviews unless they are vital, and valid, hopefully this raises the right attention. And yes, I have sent it to a named contact and SIPP support."
"Called in and spoke with Harry Pearson. He was lovely to chat too and was able to answer all my questions with a clear understanding of the processes and whenever he did have an uncertainty, he would check. Very kind and helpful."
