Absolutely garbage! Tried to sign up to there ‘Portal’ put my correct details in and got a email saying Unsuccessful.. probably in the aid so we have to call them..

Typical Financial Industry Scum, adding a loan to my credit record that I never had. This has lowered my credit score and added 8k to my used credit They are like the sneaky scum that undermines life, robbing everyone and laughing as they go. Forget all the paid reviews, these people should go to prison for the stress and harm they cause. No response to emails, no comms, I only spotted it when I was looking at my credit report. Scum Roll on the copy and paste nonsense response. Reported it to Transunion as fruad, contatcing the FCA now and no, I am not calling to have an untrackable conversation about how sorry you are and how much you do not care

Ongoing complaint for several years, given false hope throughout. I finally get them the paperwork and won’t acknowledge it accordingly, which I don’t agree with but not a lot I can do as calls weren’t recorded. Was offered a settlement offer lower 2 years ago and now the settlement offer won’t budge below despite the complaint outcome ‘willing to offer discount as a gesture of goodwill’. There is no gesture of goodwill, the offer is higher than that TWO years ago! Thank you for nothing. I cleared another account with you and unwilling to help at all.

Wow this company is so unprofessional it’s unbelievable. Threat letters saying they are sending people to the house . My wife has responded to every letter by email so we keep them for out records. She’s tried to get on the portal but tells her it’s not her . We are not calling be because we have no proof of anything. We now have written a letter of complaint too the financial conduct authority. After speaking to Step Change again they advised us now to keep all the emails sent with none being responded to. We know that the emails are getting through because we get a notification .
