I received my order late like the last review with a drug that needs to be kept stable and cool. It has been out too long and over 36 hours since it was sent to DHL now I have to try and get the medication before my dog runs out. Very pleasant but I have made several telephone calls and now am waiting for the RVS team to call me but they have not. I am now without any medication for my elderly dog who is in pain. Not acceptable that they do not resolve the problem without having to wait for another team to call you. I spent a day and a half waiting for the medication and have now been told I have to return it otherwise they will deduct it from my prescription and not sent out more of the Librela. These things happen but not to resolve it, so that the customer but more importantly the animal is not suffering is not acceptable.

My problem is not with Pet Drugs Online per se it is their use of DHL as a delivery service that is the problem. I have still not received my dog’s prescription medication that should have arrived at the beginning of this week. In fact the refrigerated item had been out for so long it became unusable, and we are back to square one with a new batch. Staff are very pleasant and try to be helpful, but the problem is systemic and it’s unacceptable that they didn’t even reimburse my delivery charge. I will be unable to order from them again which is a shame. Very stressful and time wasting experience and currently waiting for fifteen minutes to speak to someone.

I ordered a special veterinary dog food with 1–2 day delivery, but it arrived after a whole week. This is unacceptable, especially since it’s a specialist diet for a sick dog. Very disappointed with the delay and lack of reliability.

I moved house and changed my address on my profile. I have 2 subscriptions with PDO; they delivered one to the new address and one to the old. When I queried this, I was told to drive to my old house and collect it. No offer to resend. I’m now fighting them for a refund. AVOID.

Never received delivery from DHL. Got a picture taken in a work yard and signed for by a different name. After 12 emails to PDO a refund has finally been delivered today . I did receive 1 item from my order from Royal Mail. This was damaged, however never got refund for that. Customer service is zero. Will never use company again.

Great customer service. When our vet had made a mistake on our cats prescription, Chelsea informed our vet herself and they sent her an amended one. Will be ordering from them again

Ordered royal canine dog food as an emergency to help my sick poodle as advised by a vet. I ordered because they state 2 day delivery. Day 3 and its still not arrived? I am in a queue listening to their awful music. Buy cheap you buy twice. Lesson learnt!

Easy to order, quick delivery but I’m disappointed with customer service. I recently bought some Aktivait tablets for my senior dog, but sadly I lost him less than a week after starting them. On top of the devastating emotional loss, I’ve been left with almost a full box of tablets that will now never be used, which creates a significant financial loss at a time when I’m already grieving. I reached out to customer service, explained my situation and very politely asked if there was any possibility of a refund due to my circumstances. I even offered to provide proof that my dog has passed away, to show them I wasn’t just trying to get something for free. I wasn’t asking for the impossible, just a gesture of kindness and goodwill during such a painful time, whether through a refund, partial refund or another form of consideration. Unfortunately I was met with a rigid refusal from customer service, although they did acknowledge my loss. I completely understand that companies need rules, but I feel a compassionate exception, or at least some effort to meet me halfway, could’ve been made in this case and it would’ve meant a great deal. Policies have their place, but they shouldn’t override compassion, especially when a grieving customer reaches out not to complain, but to ask for help. For a company whose business is built on caring for pets, the response I received felt a bit out of step with that mission. A little flexibility in a situation like mine would have would have made all the difference and shown that Pet Drugs Online truly cares about the people and pets they serve- something that sadly didn’t come through.

1 week on No dog food 3 failed (no show)deliveries. Utterly useless and pointless Now have to wait for reund. Will not use again

Ordered a prescription which said on it to have one repeat. Clarified this was correct and that they'd issue the original and then the repeat in 6 months as per the vets advice and prescription. They said they wouldnt. Two other Vet Prescription companies said they would do this. I emailed asking for a refund and was ignored. Currently £30+ out of pocket and no refund!

Great Company, let down by DHL courier. We would have given this Company 5 stars but the delivery service is awful. Orders not arriving, delays with deliveries with message saying "unable to access property". It is beyond a joke. I have complained to Pet Drugs Online but have fallen on death ears. They have now lost a valued customer, and we are not the only ones if you look at the reviews. This is a shame as there are so many good couriers they could use instead.

Shocking customer service, if you order from this company and there is a problem with the order/delivery they will take your money and just send you an automated email response, zero customer care, I spent alot of money on a cat prescription and I never even received the order They replied back to my email that I should report it to the police that I didn't receive my order and get a crime id number I know, its hard to believe, its almost laughable So I have basically paided for a prescription that I never received and it seems zero chance of getting a refund
