"Again an online company that shows stock and after days and chasing follow up emails they don't reply to. After taking your monies you get email a cancellation order. No phone call. I will not be using this company again and so I write this review of another UK company with bad customer serivice. Very very poor comms. Don't use the company. You have been warned."
"Terrible company to deal with. Placed an order for an item that showed as in stock. Received an Order Confirmation then a strange Important Order info email then absolutely nothing for a week. They ignored my emails so I had to phone their office & eventually get agreement for a refund (as my item wasn't in stock & wouldn't be coming any time soon). It then took 3 days (after 2 further emails from me) to get a refund. AVOID !!!"
"Horrible business. Ordered on 2 Nov and they shipped with dhl. Dhl every day was sending a scheduled delivery note requesting someone to be at home for delivery but they did not ever come and that was happening every day for almost two weeks. I sent messages to Power Tools explaining tgat dhl is not coming but Power tools did not issue a refund as I requested neither did they sent the item with a proper courier as I suggested. It is 14th February and still no item no refund and no one answers my phone calls. Be carefull of this company as I would never deal with them. I would certainly recommend to buy from them if you still decide to only with a credit card so that you can cancel the purchase of the item which is obviously not coming."
"Having used Power Tools UK on quite a few occasions over a the years now I am still stunned by how quick these guys can get the order out to me from placing it online. On the one time I had a delayed delivery it was due to a carrier error (package put on wrong van at depot) and this was sorted out quickly by powertools customer service team. In all great service everytime plus low prices, that'll do for me."

"Yep, delivery takes a while. But....I ordered a DeWalt box and a tough system tray, I know they don't fit together as they're for two separate things. Got a call from them just checking with me that I was aware they're not compatible. I've never had a company do that! Usually it's a case of "that's what you ordered" and bosh! They just send it! So I found this really helpful and extremely reassuring for a company to care about your order, and making sure it's right!"

"I also ordered and paid for 2 Dewalt batteries and a charger on 13th September 2025 and was told to allow '2-3 working days for delivery'. I heard nothing more until I enquired about my order. I was then told that they had run out of stock of the battery (but it is currently still advertised on their website at a different price) and that they had reimbursed my payment on 15th September. "I ordered a Dewalt battery twin pack and other bits on September the 14th sep. The whole order was cancelled the next day, no email explanation from them, nothing. Looks like a lot of people had the same twin battery pack cancelled. They obviously feel like their customers are not worthy of an explanation when they make admin/stock errors. I will not be using them again and will continue to use power tool mate !"
"Having placed an online order on Saturday 13th September for 2 batteries and a charger I found out purely by my payment being refunded on Monday afternoon that I was not going to receive my order. After phoning the company I was told that my order was cancelled due to not having any stock left. I explained that I had checked their website on Monday morning to see the status of my order and it was pending, at the same time I checked the product combination I ordered and it was still available to order. I was told that they had run out. They couldn’t explain why their system allowed customers to order products that were not in stock. This is extremely frustrating and when I spoke with the manager the response was that there was nothing that could be done, they had run out and that was that."

"I ordered a top handle Milwaukee chainsaw on August 11th 2025, and after waiting several days I phoned customer service to enquire when it would arrive. I was informed that the quantity in stock was not updated to take into account that there was only one in stock and it had been sold over their trade counter. I then reordered the exact same chainsaw on August 20th, 2025, which arrived quickly, but it was a different type. I have repeatedly contacted customer services, and now I have to wait for a courier to pick up the incorrect one before they send out the correct one which has already been paid for. Very frustrating as twice now I have ordered the correct product but let down on both occasions with doubts of whether I'm going to receive my purchased item. Will stick to purchasing from the companies that I now know provide a reliable service."
"I wanted a Bosch 18v battery for my Multi tool, Placed the order but typo on the post code Power Tools emailed me within half an hour and we corrected the code, while exchanging emails i also decided to order a new charger as this was a very good price , placed the order 15.00 Friday new Battery & charger arrived Monday lunchtime - Great Service."

"Wanted a Bosch 12Ah 18V battery for a Bosch portable mitre saw I have recently ordered. I found this company to be the cheapest. Checked stock on line and then telephoned to confirm. Ordered item online on Friday afternoon. Battery has just arrived and is functioning perfectly. I can understand why some customer reviews have have a somewhat 'frustrated' tone to them, however, confirmatory order emails from Power Tools UK were clear and concise and detailed next steps for delivery (APC Couriers used). I have absolutely no qualms about using this company again. The staff were polite when I telephoned and the service was prompt and provided me with just what I needed. I am giving this purchase and company five stars as a consequence."
