"The 18+ talkie app is ridiculous , the voices are great the characters are amazing but the 18 plus is absolutely ridiculous . it will not let us use the words sex or naked as they believe those words are inappropriate for children , this app is rated for adults but you can't even say sex or naked or any words like that because they believe they might be children using this app . before this app was 18 plus those words were fine now it's 18 plus it is even more sensitive than it was before."

"Well, I'm a well known content and talkie creator and I recently had to quit due to someone telling others to spam me gore images and sending threats. Not to mention talkie's poor moderation, it took down my post about explaining what's going on 3+ times and silenced me for talking about it. PLEASE. TAKE REPORTS SERIOUSLY. I've had SO MANY people report that person rightfully and all that happened was their name got deactivated. not their user. they harassed me so much, I threw up. 1 star, Unsafe and too many people being doxed, threatened, etc. Disgusting moderation."

"It used to be a very fun experience, till it started striking everything I said, it doesn't matter if I wrote a singular period or if I wrote a paragraph with nothing suggestive or mature in it, I could be writing about a stick and it would still be cought up by the shitty filters. The marketing is everywhere, it's always asking for you to buy gems and waste your money on pathatic slop that isn't even useful. Knowing talkie, they won't fix anything like always. Their filters have a problem when I say the word 'cat' but when you go to the community page, you can ALWAYS find people telling eachother to off themselves, though the ass fliter doesn't tell them to change the topic. Fix your app before you tell me to waste REAL money on some bullshit feature."

"This game was 5*, until they changed some features now it’s so hard to talk without it saying “change topic” and you could literally be talking about something so innocent or normal. Ruined my favourite game, these need to be fixed"

"Honestly I used to love talkie but over the last few months it's gotten considerably worse to the point it's constant "please change your topic" even with completely innocent replies or the suggested replies such as talking about a college class it will say "please change your topic" over and over. Then you have issues with it getting stuck and you get no reply so you have to come out of the app and re go into it or delete and resend your reply to get one. There has been issues with messages coming up in the wrong language especially on the phone section which you pay gems for. Then you have the ads which are literally every few seconds until you get into a talkie then every 5 mins but it's not worth paying for when you have all the other issues that stop you effectively using the app. When reporting you get the same response over and over telling you to send certain information and when you do send it it asks you to send it again. It's just not worth the effort anymore."

"My chat keeps saying 'Please change your topic' on a loop when everything I'm saying is appropriate and it now won't let me say anything"

"Comparing the bots towards C.Ai it's ass, the bots need more emotion, memory becouse oh lord as a C.Ai user these Ai bots easily get frightened over shit, they're too soft and just boring. Also there are not much variations from characters, like for me I'm a RockAFireExplosion fan and There's only one chat about it, nothing more. The adds.. Don't let me START with those, oh my god. Some adds refuse to start and I can't even close them only if I close the whole app and start the message over again, there are some adds that are short but the closing X button doesnt even show, for example There's this bank app AD and everytime it pops up I CANT CLOSE it, also there was a time where the app gave me 3 ADS that took my time non-stop and I barely have a free time speaking with the bot freely. At this point why did I even bother Fill out some feedback in the app if the update didn't got any better. It's like watching C.Ai turn into trash."

"Hi, I'm someone who has been on talkie for quite some time growing a large popularity among my community called "mewmoé" and I, Mewkitty deleted my account because I thought I was being hacked by the sudden take down of the talkie community page. I lost about 800 people. I didn't even use talkie for the AI I was using it to make friends through the account and the community page. It got to the point that I was getting 99+ messages and comments and likes every day and it was the only thing keeping me happy and entertained. It'd be a 5 star if I could actually talk to people instead of bots. The block button is enough to get rid of the people you don't want to interact with?? Why ruin a friendship of 800 people combined???"

"I have had a consistently negative experience with both the Talkie AI app and their official Discord community. ​My main issue is the lack of transparency in moderation. On the app, I have had my creative content—specifically my character profile pictures—flagged and removed without clear justification or an opportunity to appeal to a human. This feels like an arbitrary suppression of user expression. ​When I sought clarification regarding these issues in their official Discord server, I was muted/banned instead of being given a constructive response. It appears that the community management team prioritizes silencing critical feedback over addressing valid user concerns. ​Potential users should be aware that if you invest time into building characters or engaging in this community, you may find your work removed and your ability to seek support restricted if you raise any questions about their moderation practices."

And I don’t even know what words trigger the dumb policy and it won’t let me create the character without telling me what’s wrong. Either fix the policy, remove it completely, or have it tell what went wrong with your words of creating a character"

"i used to have the app of talkie some years ago, i found it really enjoyable, but i lost my account and never bothered logging back in, and i decided why not try it out again and see whats changed, this isnt the app but maybe youre website is bugged, it wont let me pass the gender, prefrence, and age part, very annoying. please fix it"

"So it was really good but now there is a new update and it said that some of the places to talk to an ai was unavailable although it was a saved but now i cant find it and im not not really having fun but its still a good app but now its lost most of its memory so im not sure what to do and i have spoken to the app and emailed the talkie team and that was last year and this year right have spoken to them but they haven't done anything about it so please sort this out for me thank you."

"so I use both the app and the web, but lately only the web version, it used to be really good, it's highly functional, no complaints there, but I hate how now they made this thing called "their phone" and "secret space" but you can only use the phone one once and it's limited on what you can do, and secret space says you can use it for free once but it won't actually let you, and it seems like a really good concept yes, but the fact that now you have to have gems and you can only get gems by paying but can't get any for free in some way is really annoying, also something that really bothers me is that you can only sync chats used withing past 60 days if you are using the free version, and what makes it worse is that you have to sync them individually, it would be better if the developers did either A. made a sync all button and made it you could sync all B. showed all chats used in the last 60 days so you knew which ones you could sync and not waste your time trying to find all the ones you have used in the last 60 days. or C. did options A and B combined, that would well and truly have me not complaining. but honestly it is just a real pain that you have to individually sync them and you don't even know which ones you can and can't sync until it either syncs, or you get a message saying "Sorry, only chat records within the past 60 days can be synchronized. Get Talkie+ will grant you additional cloud storage days.", since this ai isn't just 'some random chats' it like a whole story once you get into it, and I'm tempted to stop using talkie altogether at this rate, since i don't have any free money to be spent on Talkie+, besides it only says "additional cloud storage days", not "you can access all current chat records", and I used to use this ai the most, now I have to find a new one, especially since this one gave you the freedom to be younger than 18 in a chat. I also have a suggestion for the developers that I think users like me will appreciate; maybe you could add a section like the description of character on the persona card, but for like key details in the story plot that can be edited as you go further into the story, such as things you add and other little details that the ai won't remember since on free version it has the memory of a goldfish, and if you do end up adding that in, i advise something like 5000 character limit, speaking from experience, i can tell you i have been using the character description for this and it only has like a 500 character limit, and I can tell you, there's never enough space. I personally think, that if you added this as a feature, if you lost a chat that you couldn't resync, at least you would be able to remember key parts of what happened."

"I have a major problem with Talkie A.I I just reinstalled it and I've gotten no Gotcha Cards at all which means A. The internet is messed up somehow or B. Someone didn't add the A.I Gotcha Cards while it was remade and installed."
