"I had an extremely disappointing experience with WES. It was a complete waste of my time and money. The customer service agents I dealt with were unhelpful, poorly informed, and unable to provide clear or consistent answers. Every interaction left me more frustrated than the last. The process was slow, confusing, and lacked transparency. Instead of resolving issues, I felt like I was being sent in circles. Based on my experience, I would not recommend using WES. If you need your academic credentials evaluated, I strongly encourage you to look at other reputable organizations instead, such as the University of Toronto’s credential assessment services or other recognized evaluation agencies. Save yourself the frustration and choose an organization that values professionalism and customer service."

"I have been trying to resolve a critical account issue with WES since March 2026. After their website migration, my completed 2023 ECA report completely disappeared from my account, which now shows zero applications. Despite multiple contacts by phone, email, and social media, I received only automated responses. WES claimed my registered email is "not on file" — despite having proof that WES themselves sent a welcome email and verification code to this address in February 2023. 4 months later — zero resolution. My college admission in Canada is at risk because of their technical failure. Avoid WES if you need reliable service."
"Day 40 and I still don’t get a refund or a resolution to my problem people in this company don’t care at all they lose documents the delay costumer calls honestly do not DO NOT hire this company worst decision ever 😕"

"In my experience, this service feels like a scam. I have been trying to get my credentials evaluated for more than two months. I fulfilled every requirement and submitted all the requested documents. My vocational diploma documents were accepted. Then WES added my secondary school credential to my application without my request and rejected it without providing a clear explanation. Every time I ask specific questions, I receive generic template responses instead of answers. I paid for a professional evaluation service, but after more than two months my case is still unresolved because WES cannot clearly explain what document they actually require. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend WES. I will continue filing formal complaints and will request a refund if this issue is not resolved."

"I submitted in march and it was always showing waiting for documents even thought I uploaded them. I called several times until 1 time they said it is because I have to contact the university and ask them to upload the document. I really do not understand the part where I have to chase the university and have then send all the documents when I have the documents that was issues submitted already and the only task was to evaluate its authenticity and then traslate to the requirements in US. I was charged around 189$ + $19+$14 but refunded only $153"

"Swift resolution time and easy to work with."
"It was easy to use and follow instructions"
"Service is too bad, I never ever recommend this service, customer service and process. No follow up, long waiting time, irresponsible, unhappy, risk."
"The translation was great, but it took a long time."

"I strongly urge students from Morocco and other African countries to think carefully before choosing WES for their credential evaluation. My experience has been extremely disappointing. I submitted official academic documents that were issued by a Moroccan government ministry and sent directly in a sealed envelope via DHL Express. WES accepted my degree certificate but rejected my transcript, claiming it had been received in an open envelope. This made no sense because both documents were enclosed in the exact same sealed envelope from the same government authority. As a result, my evaluation has been unnecessarily delayed, despite the fact that the documents were official, certified, and sent through the proper channels. I found the review process to be inconsistent, frustrating, and lacking transparency. When a government-issued document is questioned without a clear and reasonable explanation, it undermines confidence in the evaluation process. Based on my personal experience, I recommend that students from Morocco and other African countries research all organizations approved by the institution or licensing body they are applying to before selecting WES. There are other recognized credential evaluation agencies, and it is worth comparing their requirements, processing procedures, and customer reviews before making a decision. This review reflects my personal experience. I hope WES improves its document review process, communicates more clearly with applicants, and handles official documents with greater consistency and fairness."
"Their customer service has been been terrible"
"Hello I always continue to say that I really appreciated the procedures and the speed of the return. Thank a lot."
"Communication and update on status of every step makes one feel something is being done."
"It was fast and easy to understand A Little disappointed that every document I sent also had to be sent by my university Some universities do not answer quickly"
"Hi, my university submitted transcript to WES within a week of my request. However, WES took 2.5 months to acknowledge it and subsequently process it. There was no update in-between about receiving transcript from university."
